A trip to see the Northern Lights!
So weeks after Mt. Everest, the entire staff and students of the University was feeling a little bored and wanderlust was beginning to take its toll on us. Then @Bluefin Studios, the Provost, came up with a brilliant suggestion. He said:
"Hey guys, why don't we go see the Aurora Borealis in the North Hemisphere?"
"Yay! That would be a great way to welcome the Deltas!" The Chancellor, @Tiger Lily, agreed.
We were all very glad to hear it. I kept jumping up and down from excitement.
After meticulous preparation, we all set out on the University's Cruise ship which was always manned by @Bluefin Studios and @Pen-bot. Everyone was involved in one activity or the other to ensure a smooth sail. As usual, @Adore was in charge of the kitchen with her co-tutor and students. @Adeleye Abdulqudus and @Chukwubueze were on clown duty 😂. The maintenance crew comprised @Wajiha, @Kemmy, @Tori_Vickii and my bestie, @Princess Busayo.
Headed by @Remy, my excellent Professor, @VicMore, @Okonkwo Joseph and @Wakygrace were in charge of information. And as usual also, I was working closely with the Captain, @Tiger Lily as we oversaw the entire journey. 😎
After sailing hundreds of leagues into the Arctic Ocean, we all fell asleep. After a couple of hours, we were jerked awake by @Bluefin's voice. "Wake up everyone!!! You should all see this!"
We awoke to an unspeakable beauty. Oh, the magnificence of the famed Northern Lights, AKA Aurora Borealis!! I was so awestruck that I started shedding tears. I had never seen such beauty all my life.
