Pakistan has won only one of the two matches in the recent Asia Cup, but interestingly, despite this, the Pakistani team is at the forefront statistically.

Pakistan set the record for the highest team score and highest run rate of the tournament in the match against Hong Kong.

Pakistan qualified for the next stage (Super Four) by defeating Hong Kong last night.

Highest Team Score:

Batting first, the Pakistani team set a target of 194 runs for Hong Kong, which is the highest total in the tournament so far.

In reply, the Hong Kong team was bowled out for the lowest score in its history, i.e. 38 runs against Pakistan.

Earlier, India scored 192 runs against Hong Kong, which was the second highest score by any team in the tournament.

Pakistan beat Hong Kong by 155 runs, the biggest margin of victory in the tournament, while India defeated Hong Kong by 40 runs.

Highest Run Rate:

In yesterday's match, Pakistan scored 193 runs in the allotted 20 overs, which is the highest run rate per over in the tournament of 9.65 runs, while against Hong Kong, India's run rate was 9.6.

In the same tournament on September 1, when Sri Lanka achieved the target of 184 runs against Bangladesh, its run rate was 9.51.

Mohammad Rizwan is also in the front:

Talking about the individual scores, here again Pakistan is at the first place and Pakistan's wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan seems to be at the forefront.

In the Asia Cup 2022, Muhammad Rizwan is the leader so far by scoring 121 runs, while India's Virat Kohli is in second place, who has scored 94 runs in the same two matches as Rizwan, while India's Surya Kumar Yadav is third by scoring 86 runs.

Muhammad Nawaz's magic in Asia Cup:

Talking about bowling after batting, here too, Pakistan's Muhammad Nawaz is ahead of all too. Pakistan's left-arm spin bowler Mohammad Nawaz has bowled only 5.4 overs and got six wickets in two matches.

Afghanistan's Mujibur Rahman is second in this list with five wickets while India's Bhuvneshwar Kumar is third. Pakistan bowlers Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah at the fourth and fifth position, who have taken four wickets each.

According to the data so far, Pakistan's performance seems to be heavy in this tournament, but it is to be seen whether the Pakistani batsmen and bowlers will continue their performance in the match to be played on Sunday or not.
