Temples, malls and river cruise and others more can be seen when travelling to Thailand, THE LAND OF THE SMILES.

Thailand is a nation rich in cultures and traditions, every province has their own history and are preserved well by its people. Known previously as Siam, Thailand is the only Southeast Asian country never to have been colonised by a foreign power, and its people are fiercely proud of that fact.

Bangkok, or Krung Thep Maha Nakhon as known by the locals is the capital of Thailand. It is one of Asia's most cosmopolitan cities with magnificent temples and palaces, authentic canals, busy markets and a vibrant nightlife that has something for everyone.

Let's talk food.

Joke

The best place to go for this rice porridge is in Bangrak district. At the end of Silom road turn left maybe about a hundred meters one wont miss this family run business. When you see people crowding next to a small soi, you're there. Expect to wait for queue.

Roasted Duck

On the same side of the road in Bangrak lies Prachak, a well known institution to good roasted duck, fried crispy fried belly and many others. A family run business who has hundreds of loyal costumers.

Noodles

Walk a bit further right in front of Robinsons Bangrak lies a small soi with a food stall packed with ingredients from different noodles to fish balls, shrimp balls to mince pork and many others.

Kao Lao (soft boiled beef with fats and ligaments and intestines)

There are dozens of shops that i've treid over the course of many years even decades looking for tasty meals but this one place stands out for me. From Bangrak go to the pier and take the Nontaburi boat which costs 15 baht. Once there talk the main road and walk on the left side, a hundred meters and you'll see a first shop that sells kao lao, pass that one and go in the next shop.

Kao Man Kai

From Nontaburi bus stop take bus number 63, (I recommend the air-con for a cooler road trip) and get off at the last stop, Victory Monument. From there, walk straight and up the sky walk, take the route on the right and take the exit on the first intersection. Walk down the stairs and on your left is the shop.

I'll try to write more with diferrent topic next time.
