Does chewing gum really make one hungry? Because I like this chewing gum very much🤭
It's been two days without me posting anything here and it feels like forever How are we all doing noisers? Let's keep making noise here😁
What exactly is this world turning into? Read about it here:. https://read.cash/@Mercury1/busy-busy-busy-ce7dbf95 Don't forget to share your thoughts.
Hello Noise mates 😊 Read my today's blog on Read cash : https://read.cash/@Mercury1/how-do-you-spend-your-time-ad3724f9 Do have a great night y'all 🥰
This is a picture of a manual blender. It is very easy to use especially when there is no light and you need to make stew urgently. But it is better to use for just a little pepper. It shouldn't be too much.
This picture is the opposite of what I want to do now. The motivation to do some things is just very low. I should be reading, doing my assignment, writing articles but no. Is it laziness? Slacking is not just going to help me. I know this yet I'm still doing it.
I made my introduction post on Hive a few days ago. Click on this link to check it out: https://ecency.com/introduce/@mercytosho/about-me Your response would be very much appreciated. Thankssss in advance 🥰
I was thinking of which bag to carry this morning when I came across this bag. I have only carried it once and it's already peeling. This bag is like our skills. When we leave it, it becomes dormant. Whichever skill we have, let's keep sharpening it. Happy Monday ✨
I'm about to eat lunch... This is a simple rice and stew with egg meal cooked by me 😌. Rice is the most consumed food in my country. The price keeps going up yet people keep buying it. Well, that's the law of demand. Eggs are rich in nutrient and in protein. Eat often!
Happy Sunday guys ❤️✨ Hope you went to church today?
I asked my brother to give me ideas on what to write for my next article on Read cash. He collected my phone and look what he wrote. All I know is I'm not the silly one 😅
Fruits time 💚💚💚 I love this season. A lot of trees are blossoming with lots of fruits on them. I can't wait to eat this pawpaw fruit once it's ripe...
The midnight sky is as beautiful as the sunrise, they say. I love the sky even though it looks really dark, the moon shining brightly makes it look very beautiful. This is to remind us that even in our darkest moments and trying situations, there will be light. We will come out stronger! Good night🤭
The First Half of the Year By and by, the year is gradually coming to an end. When did we enter January and now June? Wow! This year looks slow but it's actually fast. We are now in the seventh month and before we know it, 2022 is gone (forever) never to come again. A lot has happened in the first half of this month of which I am grateful for Firstly, I have to thank God for so great a privilege he has given me, my family and every member of read cash to be alive today. It's been God all the way... I can remember starting January with a not so clear mind, not knowing what to expect. I also remember that as at that time I was in school. Then they rushed us likeee. No class, no lecture, just test and exam. Well, we survived. The funny thing is that our result has not been released both the first and second semester exam. Shortly after my school went on break, ASUU also called off all academic activities and demanded and still demanding for what is their right. The sad thing about this is that we have been at home since then. This is almost the fifth month yet nothing has been done. In the first half of the month, I made new friends. These friends are good people plus they are also caring. That is one of the reasons I miss school. Now, the best we can do is chat. At first, everyone was calling themselves but now we hardly talk on phone. Thank God for Whatsapp. But truth be told, I have amazing friends. I mean, I'm so blessed!😍 Have I been keeping to my new year resolutions? Yes and no. I kept to most though but at some point I relented. I became lazy. Laziness made me see those things as tiring. I did go back to them. It wasn't easy at first but doing it everyday helped a lot. Also, in the first half of this year, I got introduced to this platform-read cash. I have met wonderful people here as well. Articles that are inspiring, uplifting, helpful, funny... All of this can be found on this site. I got the opportunity to express myself publicly although through written words. I was never a writer. Before, I don't write articles except if it's compulsory. It was mostly school that required us to do so. In English class, you will be asked to write a composition which can be an essay, a letter, etc. I preferred writing an informal letter to a formal letter. Only in rare situations, did I write a formal letter. But I loved writing those letters. So, when I learnt about read cash, I was wondering what I would actually be writing. Here, they made it so easy for us to write about just anything. As long as you are following the rules, you are good to go. Showing off my pretty sponsors... I also appreciate the money earned on this site. Every little bit of it matters. I'm one month plus here already. It feels like yesterday. Time truly flies. I guess today is all about recounting the blessings received. I hope y'all hearts are grateful? You might not be where you wished to be now but at least you are not in the same place you were yesterday. You are doing better than before. Just a little reminder that God's got your back. It's just a matter of time you will be celebrated too. Don't give up! And to my generous tipper, Rusty, thank you. But I hope you have not forgotten me @therandomrewarder because it's been long since I received a tip from you. Or is this happening to everyone else? Well, I wish us all a better second half of the year. May all we have wished and prayed for come speedily to pass. 🥂 To more achievements.
@Talecharm thanks for believing in me again. I just got the message that my sponsorship has been renewed.
A confused Love Today's article will be about the film I watched today on TV. The title of this movie or should I say film is 'delayed love'. It is an Igbo movie. The setting is that of a village. The characters are very good too; fluent in both English and Ibo language. Since the setting is a village, the characters wore their natural looks or better still, no heavy makeup. Although, it lasted for hours, I enjoyed every bit of it. It is a very interesting movie. It is about a guy who basically lives in the village. He works there too as a mechanical. He is well-to-do, maybe not wealthy but comfortable. He is also a nice guy and very much single. I can't remember his name so I'll just call him Chinedu.. There is a lady who is secretly in love with him unknown to him but she is his bosom friend. The lady's mom is nice. She gives the guy food often and treats him like her own son. The name of this lady is Amaka. This lady is the only child of her mother. She is quite close to her mom as well. She tells her mom about her love life and also her feelings for her friend. Her mom urges her to speak up and let the guy know about it but she found that really difficult to do, waiting for the right time. She was nice to him hoping he would develop feelings for her. The guy was nice to her as well but in a friendly way. He sometimes call her "my sister". She doesn't want to be seen that way by him. She cooks for him, help with the house chores and try to keep him company. But this lady has a friend, who is also a lady. They've become very close and now best friends. The name of this friend is Ngozi. Ngozi and Chinedu met and fell in love with each other. Chinedu claims it is love at first sight. They loved each other a lot and even had marriage on their table. It is a very serious relationship. Meanwhile, their friend was secretly hurting, wetting her pillow with tears every nightShe didn't want to break the bond they shared. She was scared that if she opened up she will be rejected. Chinedu and Ngozi planned to get married. Chinedu decided to pay Ngozi's bride price the next month. But something unexpected happened. A suitor came to ask for Ngozi's hand in marriage. This suitor is based in Enugu state. He is rich, works in a good company and owns multiple cars. To cut the long story short,Ngozi married this young man. She chose money over love. She gave in to the pleas of her mother and cousin. She travelled with this guy and married him. Meanwhile, she made sure to leave first before making sure Chinedu heard about it. She sent her friend to deliver this message to Chinedu. On hearing this, Chinedu was very heartbroken. He cried o. I pitied him small sha😪 Amaka, Chinedu and Ngozi friend tried to be there for Chinedu but he pushed her away, blaming her for what happened. Amaka's mom urged her to open now or keep quiet forever and that this is her opportunity to win Chinedu's heart. She still found this hard to do. Then there came a day when Amaka visited Chinedu and she opened up. Chinedu apologized. He said he was oblivious of her feelings for him. However, he told her that as much as he wants to move on, he hasn't gotten over Ngozi as he loved her deeply. Amaka was patient with Chinedu. She loves him so much. Chinedu came to like Amaka and finally asked her to marry him. Isn't that beautiful? But Ngozi, Chinedu's ex, came back to the village. She lost her husband and her husband's family took everything from her. On seeing Ngozi, Chinedu's love for her was rekindled. He claims he still loves her and will do anything for her including marrying her, leaving the city, and maybe divorce Amaka. Amaka found out about this and was angry and bitter. After much plea, she left the house for them. Ngozi and Chinedu ended up getting married. But Chinedu is confused. Now that Ngozi is here, he misses Amaka. He just realized that he has being unfair to Amaka. He asks Ngozi to leave him alone. He doesn't know what he wants. So, a confused love. Thanks for reading😍
Only when they are gone... We miss them only when they are gone. When we fail to appreciate their presence, we have no choice but to miss them when they are absent. We all have that one person that we thought would stay forever, but never did. Nobody stays forever, not even you. Well, just God. We never thought they would ever leave us. We can't ask them not to that will make us selfish. Perhaps, they left for the greater good. Maybe relocated, got married, travelled abroad to further their education. You laughed together, ate together, fought severally, made up again, did so many things together. It didn't once occur to us that they will leave someday, to a better place. Sometimes, we even wanted them to leave us alone. We wanted our space. It felt as if they were disturbing us or sometimes talking too much. They were always there. They always cared but we paid less attention. They were that someone that always took our backs regardless of what we do. They understood us so much like the palm of our hands.Although, we enjoyed every moment with them. At that point, we realize that absence does makes the great grow fonder. We would be moved to tears in memory of them. They are not dead; they just left. We hope to see them someday. And one day when we do, we go to bed either happy or sad depending on how we treated them in the past. We wish we were able to tell them all that we've planned to whenever we see them. Let me say this again, no one stays forever. So be a good friend when you can,a good sister, brother, husband, wife, neighbour, colleague and lastly a good person. someone to be missed when absent, someone that goes out of the way for others. Remember those friends you had when you were little, you only connect with few of them now. You remember them for something and they too remember you for something which may be good or bad. Live in the present but also remember there is always a tomorrow that reveals what you do today. Be good while you can! It's just a friendly reminder.

A Recap It's been a while since I last wrote. Not that I travelled, I was very much around just that I have been very busy. It's so good to be back. I hope to be consistent this time around. I will be giving you the gist of how my sister's wedding went. It went well. All glory to God. The wedding ceremony was on Saturday. Not only that, the engagement party was also held on that day. The engagement party is where families of the bride and groom come together to finalize the union. Here, the groom's family brings gifts-tubers of yam, fruits, palm oil, rice, butter cola, drinks, kola nuts, salt, goat, honey, some amount of money, the holy Bibleand other things written by the bride's family. The engager, who is the chief speaker of the event, use these gifts to pray for the couple and bless their union. According to our tradition, the engagement party has to hold at the bride's house. So the groom's family has to be served well most especially, with pounded yam. The colour for my sister's engagement party was blue, all shades of blue. But this doesn't mean people without blue clothes are not welcome. For the reception, the I didn't expect people to be that much at the party because we started early. I was happy they were able to make it.We started around 7 in the morning. It was sanitation week. Sanitation week here in Kwara state is usually on the last Saturday of the month where it is mandatory for people to stay at home and clean their surroundings and cars must not be seen driving on the road. It's usually difficult to go out around this time. Except for some people that are given exempt like those in the health sector. I'm still wondering how people were able to get to our place so early. Although, some people came the previous night to help with the cooking. Like my uncles and aunties wives we call them iyawo ile. Omooo they tried. They didn't sleep a wink. They were just going up and down. They slept over as well. I met some mummies I haven't met before that I've just been hearing of them. And trust me, if you are from Yoruba land, you have a lot of kneeling to do and with both legs. God help you, the person you are greeting is a prayer warrior type of person, you have to kneel till such person finish praying. Some people even mistook me for the bride. I was just looking at them. The resemblance between my sister and I isn't so strong. I invited my friends, my brothers invited their friends, my cousins too came with their friends. Everyone came with somebody. We were done in no time. Fast forward to the church wedding. The couple had gone to change to their white clothes. It was a very beautiful moment. The colour of the cloth we used here is peach and burgundy. We the bridesmaids wore peach while men in suit and agbada wore burgundy. The church wedding lasted for one hour and a half. We sang and danced. Everyone was filled with excitement. The couples had their dance. The pastor's message was a very interesting one. He addressed both the wife and the husband. He talked about being romantic, saying a romantic person is a happy person. They should not stop dating each other. They should learn to tolerate each other and they should always involve God in their doings. It was a very nice session. Hymn was sung by the choir. I think the title of the hymn is God give us a Christian home. After the service ended, we took pictures outside. We already had our photographer but we saw people with different cameras snapping us without asking them to. Then we moved to the reception hall. It wasn't nearby. Kind of far from our church. I haven't even being there before. We got there and we met the hall full. I was like what??? The bride's mother,(my mom), was called upon first by the MC to dance forward. And of course, people sprayed her money. Then the bridal train danced with the bride. They sprayed us money too. I forgot to take slippers along. My legs was already aching me. Then the worst happened: my shoe by the side cut. There was no shop nearby. It was manageable though. After a while, they started serving food. Different dishes was prepared-fried rice, jollof rice, moin moin, Amala and ewedu, semo and efo riro. Drinks was available as well. Some people we didn't even expect they would be able to come, were there. Some came from Ibadan, Oyo, Abuja, Lagos, Osogbo and Osun state. They were mostly family and friends. I wasn't really watching the event as I was trying to make sure people were served. I only sat down for a while. We were just going up and down. Everyone was served. The cake was the last to be cut. It was shared round. We got home late in the evening tired and exhausted. But we had some cleaning to do. The whole house has been turned upside down. We swept, mopped and arranged the house, washed the plates and ate. Although stressful, it was a fun-filled day. And I later got the bucket hat🤠 The next day which is Sunday, we went to church for Thanksgiving. Our church holds two services. First service is from 7:00- 9:00 while second service is from 9:15 to 11:00. I attended first and second service while the rest of the family with some visitors attended second service as I couldn't wait for them. We (my family and the newly Weds) were called upon during the service to dance to the altar. The pastor once again prayed for us. Several people came greeting us then they will turn to me and say 'iwo lokan' meaning you are the next in line. I would just laugh. I claimed it Sha. It's a good prayer. We took some pictures after the service ended and went home. Our visitors have started returning to their various destinations. Thanks for reading✨
A Very Busy Day Such a busy day I had! I woke up since 4 o' clock and since then it's been from one work to another. If not now that I'm on my bed, I have not had time for myself since morning. I didn't go to shop as well because there was just so much to do. And it is not just me, everybody is busy including my mom and dad. Remember, I said I plaited my hair yesterday, my head is stiff even after using PCM. Only that it's better than yesterday. Ohh I forgot to say this at the beginning, my sister's wedding is in three days. I feel like it should have ended. My cousin was telling me this afternoon that this is just the beginning of stress and that during her sister's wedding she did more than this. She also said that come tomorrow, I might not even get to sit down at all. You might be wondering what I'm doing that is keeping me so busy. The truth is I'm doing a lot. Since we are the bride's family, the engagement has to hold here in our house. Our sitting room won't occupy everyone so we decided it was going to hold at our backyard which is quite large. We have a number of trees there like Cashew, Mango, Orange, Guava, Coconut tree and Palm tree. But the cashew trees were growing too wild so we had to cut them down. We did this some months back. Now, the branches and leaves are dry which means another clearing to do. We gathered it together, in the process of doing this, the rake bent and got twisted which makes it useless. We had just one so I had to go borrow from our neighbour. Thank God they had. We gathered it together and burnt it. After that, we had to do the final cheating clearing. We took out the ashes and whatever was left out the compound. My cousin also made her hair today. She is a friend to the hairdresser. It was a home service kind of thing. She came alone so I was called to assist her. It took the whole afternoon and evening sef. She wanted it tiny and full and it's still Ghana weaving. The funny thing is that despite all this, I didn't feel hungry in the afternoon. I only had coke. The tension was high abi how should I say it. Everyone was tired. Small thing like this, someone is raising their voice at you. I was also angry but my tired was tired. The best thing I knew I had to do was to keep my mouth shut and that kind of helped. Yeah this thing that is about to happen is a thing of joy but in the background, it comes with a lot of stress and preparations. It is seriously not for the weak. Well, all thanks to God. I know I have been going on and on about this but I won't and can't stop until after the wedding. Even if I choose not to write about it, I actually don't know what else to write about cause that's what have been coming to my mind. I haven't been able to read a lot of articles or be active generally but I will surely try to do that. I have time to do that now but the only thing on my mind is sleep and I can even sleep off reading 'em. Soooo till tomorrow. Anyways, I appreciate you for reading this. And to my amazing sponsors, thank you! You guys can check them out too.
@micontinsabit thank you very much for the sponsorship. Thanks for believing in me. I appreciate this.
Ladies are Trying! I'll start with how my day went. I had a very busy day. Last night I said I was going to read some articles but I couldn't as I slept off. I said I will read them at midnight only to wake up around 7 AM. We(my family and I) had our morning devotion as usual. After that, my mom said I should go and plait my hair quickly so that I will be able to go to shop because she was going out. Do you remember my sister's wedding I told you about. Well, it's this Saturday. Three days to go.Preparation is going on left, right and centre. Part of it is me making my hair. I already bought the attachment I was going to use. I bought one big and one small. Thanks to read cash, I didn't have to ask for the money from my mom or dad. The colour of the attachment is brown. I don't have brown hair my hair is very black but my mom insisted that I bought brown attach saying it lasts more than the black one and my hair being black doesn't affect anything and it will blend. Of course, I agreed. I already told the hairdresser yesterday evening that I was coming to make my hair today. She said she would be around. But my sister had to call her this morning to confirm so I won't waste my time going there. I tried to get ready-brushed, took my bath and ate. Thank good I ate before I left. Her (the hairdresser's) shop was kind of far. It would take about 20 mins to get there by foot. I wasn't even in the mood of walking and I didn't want to keep her waiting for long since I told her I was coming soon. Entering the tricycle, I met my brother's friend. He even paid for my transport fare. I alighted first. It was nice seeing him again. On getting to the hairdresser's shop, she was already making hair for someone but it's a simple all-back so it didn't take that long. I got there around 9 AM. She started my hair around 10AM. She was the only one there. None of her apprentices were around. Some have travelled while the rest have gone to school. She had to cut the attachment first, pull before she started plaiting. She couldn't pull all at once so she would pull some and plait some. She started plaiting. She is very good at her job and fast as well. I already showed her the style before. The name of the style is 'Suku'. Everything has to meet at the middle. When she got to the middle part, the hair started paining me. And she wasn't trying to console me at all. She said I'm the one that wants to look beautiful so I have to endure the pain. After all, no pain no gain. Later, one of the hairdresser's friend came by. She helped a lot. And she is a chitchat kind of person. She was talking about her baby, her troubles with her in-laws and some other interesting things. Later on, my sister called to ask how far we've gone. My mom called after some time too. Let me give you the whole summary. You can't believe that we finished the hair around past 5. Like since morning. I spent over seven hours sitting down. Ladies are truly trying. We sit down to make hair; we also sit down to loose it. We spend hours doing this. To look fine is not a joke. My mom called like six times, my sister four times. They were wondering if I was playing something apart from hair. I was also very tired. Although, she gave me time in between to stand up, walk around and stretch. Not only that, there was cold. It rained blue and black. Thank God I wore cardigan and a very thick trouser but I regret not wearing socks. It was freaking cold. My hand and feet were very cold. She had arraign outside. Even though she had it covered with tarpaulin when the rain started, it still didn't stop the breeze from blowing it up. After this, I still had to go to shop as my food was there and I had to lock the doors. The rain had reduced and it was only drizzling. I got to shop safe and sound, thank God! I was famished already. I quickly went for my flask and ate. I rushed the food not minding that I was outside. It was my favorite-rice and beans with stew. The food got stuck in my chest or should I say my throat I had to take water quickly to wash it down. I couldn't eat the food again because of this. I hate taking water in between meals cause I won't be able to eat that food again. I waited for some time, packed the goods inside, locked the shop and headed home. I couldn't eat dinner again as I was already full. The weather is still cold. I decided to write this before I sleep. What a day! I hope I didn't bore you with this. Anyways, thanks for reading dearies 😍

Having People's Back We all have that one friend that has our back, would go out of their way for us and do something extraordinary for us. That will always check up on you, call you whenever you've not been online for long, never get tired of reposting your business flier. We are always grateful to have them around. They are the best kind of people to have.Sometimes, we might even be that friend. People like these are always selfless-never seeking their own. They radiate love. On Sunday, I was going through my friend's status. Her name is Iyanu. We went to the same secondary school. Iyanu has always been nice in terms of helping people just that she fit vex quickly. So, on her status, she reposted what a friend of hers posted. Her name is Janet. We were also classmates. There is this beauty contest Janet was contesting for. To support her, you can just transfer N50 to her. N50 is equal to 10 votes. In case you have more than that you can also send. What happened is that, Iyanu sent Janet's details to our class group chat not only that, she went to our DM's and pleaded with us to help Janet win the contest. Later on, Janet posted on her status that it was only Iyanu that had her back among all her friends. We helped too. We sent the little we could but what I'm trying to say is someone supported her fully by sharing to groups, individuals and even on her status. The result is not yet out but I just hope she wins. This girl, Iyanu, has always been like that since secondary school. Just tell her you want to do something, she will help you in every way possible. I don't know how she does that. She is always happy for other people's progress and achievements just as it should be. I also have a friend that would always support her business friends by patronizing them no matter how high their prices are or how far the location is. Her name is Rhoda. She would say 'that's why we are friends. There was a time she wanted to buy a piggy bank(it's called Kolo here). I told her that it's sold for N150 in my area but she told me her friend was also selling it. Her friend just started this business. She was making this Kolo herself but she's selling it for N200 instead of N150. Normally, you would want to go for the cheaper one but my friend said no that she would buy from her friend. I tried persuading her but she said it was only N50 difference and we should help small businesses to grow. In all, let's strive to be good people, good friends, good children as well as good parents. Thanks for reading🥰
How free are you with your parents? Happy father's day to all fathers out there. To those alive and those who can't be here with us on this special day. People are really rocking this day. Some held parties to mark this day. I watched one where fathers were given a doll and a wrapper to back. None of them were able to do it right. It got me laughing. This shows that the role of mothers in the society can't be underestimated. Some other people posted the wonderful memories they have of their fathers. Then I thought of my dad. He is very much alive. May the almighty God keep him for me, for us. I can remember when we (my siblings and I) were very little, he would tell us a story every night before we go to bed. The stories are you usually about Tortoise, leopard and lion. I can remember him buying us Kilishi and kuli kuli whenever he travelled to Kaduna. I can remember him complaining about his phone being hot and we would act like we didn't know meanwhile we'd used his phone to play game. He doesn't like us pressing his phone but I don't think he ever found out about it. Although, that was a long time ago. Even though you were never there for our graduations and PTA meetings, you still found time to check our results, commend us and encourage us to do better. Our welfare was always your very first priority. You made sure to pay our school fees, get our books before sorting out your personal need. You've always thought us that fearing God would always keep us in the journey of this life. You are the best dad in the world... I wish I can say all these to you face to face but I just couldn't summon the courage to. All I could say was 'Happy father's day'even though I know that's not enough. Father's day was also celebrated in the church I attend. A story was read. It's about being free and open with our parents. We were taught to always seek our parents or guardians for help or advice. Well, that's if they are willing to listen without misinterpreting what you say. Everyone wishes to have understanding and cool parents but the question is -have we created a comfortable atmosphere for our children to speak freely their minds? It's not easy for people especially teenagers to speak up and when they do, you shun them still assuming they are children and shouldn't know that much. When you do this, you will shut them out forever, they might never confide in you out of fear. That's why some turn to their friends for advice who might end up misleading them. To every father out there that take out time to spend with their family, that are present not only as a father figure but in the emotional well-being of their children, that play and not just warn their children, for daily making sacrifices for the future of your kids-you are great fathers and deserve to be celebrated. I hope it's not too late to say this: Happy father's day to y'all 😍❤️
Relationship Violence My brain kind of went blank. I kept on thinking of what to write still I couldn't come up with any. I was running off of ideas. I couldn't post yesterday because of this and today again? This can't be happening. Not until I remembered a video my brother showed me yesterday which I would be sharing with you. The video is of a guy who is beating a lady seems like he is her girlfriend. He started by using his hands then later shifted to using hangar on her. Although, the lady tried to fight back but the guy overpowered her till she could no longer fight. It's a short video so I don't really know what caused their fight. But still, I believe this is wrong. Why on earth will you beat a lady? Remember, she is not your little sister; she is just your girlfriend. Like this is totally wrong. I felt really offended. I don't know what the wrong of the lady is but she still didn't deserve that. This wasn't all. The fight took place in their house, sitting room to be precise. What amazed me there was that there were two other guys there, they didn't try to help the lady, stop the guy or even separate them. They were just there pressing their phone and minding their business at the wrong time. Like, how on earth can they turn a blind eye to that? But then I just assumed that maybe this wasn't their first time fighting. Maybe this has happened before. In the video, I heard some other voices in the background. Some ladies were begging the guy to calm down, to stop but he didn't even act like he heard their pleas. They could have helped and saved the situation instead one chose to make a video of them. This is exactly where I am going. Anything happening now the next thing is to make a video and post. Like, why can't we try to help first. People fight, you record them; you dash someone money or help others, you put it on social media. I actually don't understand why you'd do this. Is it to receive praises of men or what? There was even one I heard of a person that fell off a bike and those around didn't even try to help and rescue the person instead they took their phone and started videoing. Not until some women passed by and rushed the guy to a hospital. I believe before we try to entertain the world, we should take up the courage and lend a helping hand to someone in need. Doing this goes a long way in averting serious things that might happen. I kept on wondering why the guy would beat her that much. Is is because she loves him more than he does her? Or has he been the one paying her school fees? Or did he buy her iPhone x pro max? Or did she cheat on him? Or is it just the guy that has anger issues and resolves to violence? Has his father been beating his mom and he feels it is a normal thing to beat a lady? Or is he depressed and decided to take it on her? In my mind, I was just praying that may we not encounter such people, know them or even be in a relationship with them. Do you feel the same way too or is it just me exaggerating? Let me know in the comment section. Thanks for reading✨
My 5 Celebrity Crushes A celebrity is a popularly known person. Liking a famous person can be referred to as celebrity crush. You know you are in your house watching a movie then you just spot a fine looking specimen on your screen and before you know it, you check the person up maybe on Instagram and then you find yourself liking and commenting on such person or persons photos. Most times I don't comment, I just like and pass. And sometimes you find yourself downloading all their movies if such person is an actor and just like that your data is gone without the person even noticing you. Having a crush makes one stupid sometimes. Perhaps, you have found yourself smiling sheepishly at your screen once you see your crush. I never imagined writing about this but I have to answer the question that comes with the challenge. Day 14: Provide pictures of 5 celebrity crushes. My first celebrity crush is... I'm allowed to crush on ladies, right? It is no other person but Deborah Paul Enenche. I love love her-her voice, melanin skin, sense of fashion, elegance and modesty.Deborah Paul Enenche is the first child and daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche and his wife Dr Becky Enenche. She is an artist and also a practicing lawyer. She is such a blessing. I love her songs a lot. Well, I only have three of them-'glory', 'consciousness' and 'even if you slay me'. I admire her a lot. I follow her on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. My second celebrity crush is Micheal B. Jordan. This guy is very cute. The first time I saw him was in a movie called Creed. He acted so well. I haven't watched all his movies but I hope to do that one day. I have watched Fahrenheit and Without remorse. These movies are very interesting. My third celebrity crush is Amandla Sternberg. She is an American actor. She sings too. She is such a fine girl. I love her movies. I was watching this movie-everything everything, and she was the first character I saw. I can remember I was feeling sleepy but still I watched that movie till the end. I've also watched 'The darkest minds', 'Where hands touch' and' Colombiana'. This girl is so fineee she must be made on a Sunday. The fourth is Daniel Etim Effiong. He is a Nigerian actor. His movies are usually very interesting like 'Plan b', 'Selina'and 'Still falling'. There are still so much more. And the last but not the least is Asa. She is a popular artist. Let's just say love her music and her voice. Pictures are from Instagram and not mine. Thanks for reading🥰

Three Little Confessions *****Day 13: Three Confessions of My Choice***** A confession is the act of disclosing an information that is personal to oneself. You know, that thing one holds dearly, that is precious to ones heart.Today's prompt is that I write about three confessions of my choice. Not bad, I can do this. Now everyone will know about my little secrets. The first confession is more of a wish. I'm not a tall person, I am of average height so, I have always wished I was tall. I like tall people. I can't help but admire them. Anytime I say this, my mom would always tell me that God made us differently and sometimes she will say: "You are still growing". I hope so too. Here in Nigeria, we have nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary school. Secondary school is for six years- three years for junior class and three years for senior class. When I was in senior class, during assembly, I always stayed at the front although not the forefront. I've never had the opportunity to stay at the back. Not that staying at the front was bad but then you hear your friends tell you, 'you are short, move to the front' is heartbreaking for me. Although, I no longer feel bad about it, there is no reason to. The second confession is that I don't like going out. I should be given 'best in staying at home' and they will still have to come present it to me at home. My sister finds staying at home boring. 'Like why on earth will you stay at home all day?' she'd say. Especially now that ASUU is on strike. ASUU is the Academic Staff Union of Universities. They've gone on strike for about four about four months now. Back to what I was saying, I've only been going to shop thanks to my mom. Don't get my wrong, it's not like I don't go out at all, just that I prefer it to be once in a while. That way it will be exciting and fun. And the last confession... Is that.... Well, I miss going to work. Not only that, I wish I was more serious with cake decoration. Early last year, I started learning a trade-catering. It was supposed to be for six months but I was only able to learn for about three to four months before my boss and his family moved. Their new house is kind of distant from my house. I was able to learn how to make a whole lot of things-baking, small chops, barbecue, kebab and many others. It's just that I wasn't so serious with cake decoration and now, they are gone. Although, I've started practicing at home still, it needs some professional touch. I hope you enjoyed reading. Good night y'all😍
A Screenshot of my Desktop ***Day 12:*** As part of the challenge, I will be showing you a screenshot of my desktop. I don't have a personal laptop so, I'll just show you what my phone's home page looks like. I used a picture of myself for my home screen wallpaper. For my lock screen wallpaper I didn't bother changing the default wallpaper, I left it like that since it is fine and I am okay with it. Here we go... I don't like my desktop crowded that's why I have few apps here just in case you are wondering. For the three slides, I have the same apps, nothing extra. For my picture, It was my brother that snapped me on this day with his phone. I was actually going to school on that day and we decided to take pictures. Of course, I need to be updated that's why the clock icon is there. It tells me what time it is, what day it is and what date it is. For the phone app, I believe it's an everyday app. I make and receive calls everyday. You know, we have to communicate with people. So, that's why it is there. For the camera app, I like it there. If I want to snap anything or make a video, I can easily locate, tap on the camera app and start snapping or recording. I actually don't know why messaging/text application is there. I hardly go there because messages pop up at the top of my screen and I can read it like that. I also like that Bible application is there. Sometimes, I might be outside without my physical/hard cover Bible or maybe I'm in the toilet or in a bus, I can just read the Bible easily. It contains three version-King James, Good News and The Message Bible. And lastly, the A/Z icon. This takes me directly to all the apps on my phone. I don't really use it, I prefer to swipe up. Since I can't take it away, I have no choice but to leave it there. This is one of my lock screen wallpapers. There are two others. This is the second. And this is the last. These wallpapers change every time. Thanks for reading😎

Living in Love If only we could live in love, the world would be a better place. If only we'd learn to interact freely with our neighbours, there would hardly be war. If only we would leave obsession with religion and tradition and be blinded by love, we would have cause to smile again. I remember when I was little, our neighbours would come around then. They were Muslims but you know how kids are-open and free. We related well with each other. Their parent would drop them with us whenever they are going out. My mom would cook their food as well and we would eat together. But there was a particular day that my mom offered them food but they refused to eat. So my mom thought maybe their parent's didn't want them to eat out, only for us to discover that it wasn't that they did not want them eating outside but because we were christians. It was their last born that spilled this. This made me laugh. I have also seen christians that reject food given to them during muslims festive period. Religion should not separate us. It is meant to bind us. We should not hate our neighbour because we are not of the same religion. Let God's love keep dwelling in your heart. You can't change someone you hate; you can only instill fear in them. What happened to love your neighbor as yourself? Be it a traditionalist, a Muslim, Christian or an atheist, we are meant to love one another, to be there for each other what come may and without holding back. We kill because we hate; we maim because the fear of God is not in our heart. Imagine what happened recently in Owoh, Ondo state, Nigeria, where bandits or what should I call them, went into a church, killed and wasted those innocent lives, forgetting that they are humans like them, they have life, family, goals, dreams and aspirations yet, they tarnished it all. They did it without regret. Sometimes I wonder, does it makes them happy seeing people die or begging for their lives? Just like a picture I saw yesterday of a celestial woman who carried a gun across her neck in church. That's the level of insecurity we are experiencing now. But the truth is, these people come when no one is looking. They try to create a drama, to make the country crazy forgetting that whatsoever a man sows that also shall he reap. We also seen these bandits invade villages and kill those poor people. Blood shed everywhere. This country isn't safe anymore. Sigh 😥 It is only God that can help us. 'If you are not different, then you are not needed' My pastor once said "if you are not different, you are not needed'. He said this four years ago. These words touched me. I got home and was pondering over it trying to understand what it meant. That is, if you do things the same as everyone else, there will be no use for you. If you are not ready to go an extra mile, there won't be space for you out there. To stand out, to make a difference, be unique, you have to think and do things differently. We shouldn't be like a snake that moves on a rock, leaving no sign. Today's challenge is that I write about my favorite quote. So that's it. ***Day 11:*** What is my favorite quote? ***Quote on Success*** My favorite quote on success is: 'It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation'.This teaches me to just be me and not to compare myself with anyone. Yeah, I can take in their good character but not try to be like them. Everyone is unique in their own way. ***Quote on Diligence*** 'Good morning and win today' I saw this somewhere and liked it since then. What this means is though I might have failed yesterday but I can still try again today. That is, today is another opportunity to do something better. As we all know that time is money. Yeah, we might have made mistakes but you can't undo them. So, now is time to try again. It's just like playing a game say candy crush, not winning a level doesn't discourage you from playing, you keep on trying till you move to the next level. ***Quote on Friendship*** 'He who must have friends must show himself friendly...'This is actually from the Bible. You don't have friends because you are not friendly or maybe you are harsh. ... 'Read like you've never prayed and pray like you you've never read'. Although, this seems more like an advice than a quote, I still like it. It teaches me to trust in God and also be diligent. Quotes like this are useful when preparing for exams. So, it is pray and read and not just one of them. God is always there to crown your efforts so long you ask Him but let's say your effort is zero, what do you expect God to crown, nothing? I'll stop here today. Happy Sunday friends 😍.🥂 to a prosperous and fulfilling week...
One Food and One Beverage I could Live off For The Rest of My Life Hi guys. I have come to like this challenge because every day I would have something specific to write about. Today is the 10th day of this challenge and very soon this challenge will be over. Although, I hope to do this next month as well. That's enough. Lemme go into it. If I could live off of one food and one beverage for the rest of my life, what would it be? This question is kind of hard. I actually don't like eating one type of food no matter how tasty or good it is because I'll get tired of it and after some time won't feel like eating it. But still, there are foods and beverages I enjoy so much. One food I will/might never get tired of eating is rice and beans. It can't be just me that likes this food😁.Goddd I love eating rice and beans. I can take it as many times as possible-in the morning, in the afternoon and at night. I prefer eating rice and beans to eating rice alone or beans alone. I love rice and beans especially if it is white with stew and boiled egg. And then the pepper is grated. Then you go on and put the egg inside the stew, forget it, you will bite your tongue. I love short grain too.Especially if it's hot; it tastes different. A beverage I could live off for the rest of my life is tea. By tea I mean milk and chocolate. I actually prefer condensed milk to evaporated milk although, it is more expensive. I prefer hot tea to cold tea. Taking cold tea, to me, isn't cool at all. So, I like my tea hot. I take tea often. It might not be everyday though. But whenever I take tea, it makes me feel as if I have eaten something edible. I take tea more often during the harmattan and the rainy season. This is the period when wearing of cardigan is very important if you don't want to die of cold. You have to take in hot things as well especially liquids like tea, coffee, pap etc. That is when you find me taking tea frequently. Well, I don't drink tea more than once in a day or less 'cause I know it contains sugar and I don't want to have pile. I'm two days behind in this challenge. I'll try to type and post day 11 today. I'm glad you read this. 🥰😍😍
