Places to visit in the Philippines - Part 4

Hello again guys! Honestly, I didn't realize that it will take me some time and it will be a long series of articles to revisit the Philippines with this virtual tour. Imagine we are still in the Luzon region of the Philippines and we still got Visayas and Mindanao to revisit. So let's try to finish the northern part so we can head to the southern part of Luzon. Bataan Bataan is located in central Luzon. Bataan is also rich in history. One of their famous histories is the last stands of American and Filipino soldiers before they were overwhelmed by the Japanese forces during World War II. The Bataan Death March was named after the province, where the infamous march started. Aside from history, Bataan is also one of those places where you can find nice beaches, water parks, and forest parks. One of the best resorts in Bataan is the Anvaya Cove Beach Resort, which is located in Morong Bataan. When we went there before it was a company outing and you cannot just go there, you have to be a member or you know someone that is a member of the club. That's the only way you can have a booking in that resort. If not for that company outing I don't think I can visit this place.

It is also in Olongapo where you can find the Subic Bay Freeport Zone which makes the city a first-class highly urbanized city. Subic bay offers a lot of things to do, you can visit the Inflatable Island which is just a 5 mins drive away from the Subic Port, the Pamulaklakin Forest Trail, Magaul Bird Park, and the Jungle Environment Survival Training (JEST) Camp, there is also a treetop adventure that offers extreme activities. **Inflatable Island** Inflatable Island is the biggest floating park that you can find in the Philippines. It's floating on Subic Bay waters which is two and a half-hour trip from Manila. You can do a lot of things in that floating park and it is so fun too, besides you are safe because everyone is required to wear a life vest. They also have a Bali Lounge, with colorful umbrellas, that can give shade and protect the guest from the direct heat of the sun.

But I didn't do everything here especially the superman Zipline, what I did was rappelling down from a tree and all those hanging bridge types. I really wanted to try their zipline but I just can't do it but I'm still wishing I'll have enough courage to do it someday. They have some parts that you have to trek, actually the trek is so entertaining if you are into nature and you love long walks. So, if you are up to some thrilling adventures, this is the place for you. really you will enjoy it here. Me? I really love going to places like this. By the way, there is also a treetop adventure in Baguio.

And here you will find the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish but also known as ***Barasoain Church*** is as symbolic as the Philippine flag, in fact, it is also featured in the 200 pesos bill until 2017. Barasoain Church is a stunning example of the period in which Baroque architecture in Spanish structures built in the Philippines, is construction began in 1885 and completed in 1888. The church symbolized the founding of the town of Barasoain which was then a separate entity from the towns of Malolos and Santa Isabel. Would you believe this church is 133 years old and yet it is still standing beautifully.
