For as long as i can remember i have always been fascinated by certain questions like "how did things start?" "who started it?" "for how long has it been going?" and all other such questions that seek to pin down the true nature of our reality.
The society in which we exist today has learnt overtime to overlook the fundamental truths that will guide us in our quest to grasp reality and its contents.
Truth 1 - Everything is connected
Modern science through the study of quantum mechanics is only just recently coming to the same conclusion held by yogic science for millennia which is that everything in existence goes together with everything else no matter how much they are separated by space or time.
Truth 2 - Time isn't Linear
We have learnt to think of time as a one-way traffic of events that is infinitely going into future and leaving a past behind. In reality there is no past nor future, Both exist as items in the corridors of memory and as figments of our imagination respectively, Time is only ever NOW, an infinite collection of "now" moments.
Truth 3 - Everything exists in relation to something
The human consciousness has specialised in noticing certain things as important while ignoring the other, we do this subconsciously without even noticing. We may look at a painting and admire the figure made by the painter without realising the equal importance of the background under the painting. We listen to music mostly focused on the tones not realising the intervals between the tones are equally important. This is evident in abstract concepts as well - Good and bad, Light and dark, in and out without one there isn't the other.
Truth 4 - A lot is going on in reality than we can notice
Reality is a construct determined by the type of sense organ possessed by us as human beings, A whole lot maybe going on in reality that we wont notice because we lack the sense organs to pick them up, Other animals with their varying sense organs will definitely see a very different reality from we as humans, The human eyes can only see a tiny part of the entire possible range of light spectrums, Our ears can only pick up a limited range of the possible bands of sound waves, There possibly exists an infinite amount information about reality and organs that are sensitive to these information, we have developed machines with artificial organs that can pick some of these information like the radar, the infrared camera, the sonar systems etc.
Conclusion
The wonder of existence has always and will continue to puzzle the mind of Man, Existence is quite strange if we really pause and think about it. Thanks alot for reading
