How To Use GoC Bridge From SmartBCH To BSC

Most of the SmartBCH users knows that it has been a “hostage” when Coinflex stop the bridge and all transactions in their platform especially withrawals. I still have 1.07 BCH that was still pending in their exchange because they halted withdrawals.

The issues with Roger Ver having $47M debt to Coinflex to support his degen trades has been hot issues recently. The SmartBCH has been sandwich due to the issues and badly affected when the bridge was stopped.

There's still a way how to get out your money in SmartBCH, that is to use the GOC bridge but you have to sell your Sep20 BCH to GOC so you can bridge it to Binance Smart Chain. If you are afraid that your money will be gone like a bubble, you can try it.

What is GoC Tokens?

GoC token is a multi-chain utility token running in SmartBCH, Bitcoin Cash blockchain (BCH), Simple Ledger Protocols (SLP), Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and soon in Solana. It has integrated in all applications and services with those networks making it a true utility token with wide usability.

Steps on how to use GocBridge

Add Goc Token in your wallet - CA (Both SmartBCH & Binance Smart Chain)

• Swap/Buy Goc in any SmartBCH DEX (Mistswap, Benswap, Tango, etc.)

I used Benswap to swap my WBCH to GoC, I think GoC has higher liquidity in Benswap as I tried swapping on Mist it did not push through. This is just basic swapping, just tap swap and wait for approval pop outs.

• Set up your BSC RPC in Metamask

Before you use the Goc Bridge make sure to set up your BSC RPC first in Metamask so you can receive your Goc Tokens right away after bridging it.

The image above are the RPC of BCS but you can copy those links from Binance academy blog so you can paste it right away when setting it up.

• Go to GocBridge in SmartBCH network to use the bridge

Open this link https://bridge.gocrypto.com/#/ your Metamask to start using the bridge.

Above image will show up.

First click From: then chose SmartBCH

Second click To: then chose Binance Smart Chain

Source address is automatically filled with your SmartBCH address.

Distention Address: your BSC address (copy it after you set up your BSC RPC- but it is still the same with your SmartBCH address since all Metamask has one address, just make sure you've set up your BSC RPC correctly)

Amount: You can input how much Goc you'd like to bridge or just tap MAX if you want to bridge all.

Migrate: Click this after done filling everything.

Then wait for confirmation pop outs to confirm your transaction. After confirmation your Goc Tokens will arrive on your BSC wallet after a while, just refresh your tab to see it directly. Make sure you add the Goc token in BSC - above is the CA of GoC token.

Switch SmartBCH network to BSC network to see your GoC Tokens that has been bridge.

Swap GoC Tokens in Pancakeswap

Open https://pancakeswap.finance on your Metamask. Click Trade button. (Make sure you have a little BNB for gas fees purposes.)

On the upper portion search GoC Token and there will be pop outs and you'll just add it manually, so GoC token will appear.

Then lower just chose whatever tokens available in Pancakeswap DEX that you would like to swap your GoC tokens. I chose BUSD because it is stablecoins and has lower fees than USDT in case I'd like to send it to an exchanger.

Then click Enable Goc, just approved it.

After enabling GoC click Swap and then approve.

Voila! You've done bridging your Sep20 BCH out from being hostage in SmartBCH network.

About the fees in swapping Goc to other tokens, I think it's a bit pricey. All or nothing, that's how you do it if you want to get out those last money you had in your SmartBCH to avoid more risk and chaos.
