Yeah. You saw right. Self-Love is destructive. Note: self-love, not self care.

One must take care of him/her self. Bath properly, brush your teeth properly, use skin care products, go out and have fun! Yes! It's necessary. That's self care.

But when talk about Love, it's more of the emotional part.

If we keep pushing this self-love thing, it's gonna be disastrous.

Let's enter the world of imagination.

If we say, everyone must love themselves, then I say mothers must love themselves over their babies.🤷🏾‍♂️

If we say, everyone must themselves, then our soldiers should not even be on the war field fighting for our cause.

Well, you say, "they took an oath to protect the country".

Yes. That's choice. A proper choice that makes you sleep comfortably at any given time. A choice that suppress fear in the whole country.

A proper choice. A choice where others safety is more important than yours.

We can make that choice, but we won't. Why? We are afraid or we don't give a damn or we don't care; because we aren't affected.

When you start doing good

Yes, I am not disputing the fact that the world is wicked and that people pay good with wickedness.

But your doing good shouldn't be on what you have to get; that's why we can't have real friends. Cos we make friends based on what you have to gain!!!

Our good deeds should be as a result of our personality.

Others concerns, should be ours too.

What bother our friends must bother us.

We live our lives giving to others and others giving to us; not be virtue of "trade by barter", but in love and care.

Other comments

The world is spinning in the direction where wrong and wicked acts could be easily justified.

We come on social media, say anything we wanna say and we don't even care that our words hurts others.

If you're a Christian, well the Scriptures is your guide.

But even when you read and study, you'll find out that all the scriptures was talking about were matters of the heart.

Even the Muslims know this.

That Love conquers all.

All the hate, the strife, the struggles, problems. Love conquers them.

But it's not self-love. It's love for others

Hate is all around us, 24hours a day, 7 days a week.

So the best you could do is spread love. Make life easier for other. Some will get affects by your love gesture, directly and indirectly. That person will also show a love gesture.

Sooner or later, you'll be surrounded by people with good heart💓.

Note, it takes time, but as we say, "Rome wasn't built in a day". Luckily for you, this ain't about Rome.😊 So, it won't take that long.
