A man went to the barber shop to get a haircut. As is usually the case in barbershops while the barber was doing his job, a conversation ensued. At one point during the conversation, a question of faith in God arose among them. The barber said to the customer, "I don't believe God exists." "Why do you say that?" The man asked him. “It is enough to look around and see that God does not exist.
Tell me, if there were, would there be so many wars, diseases, unhappy people? If God existed, it should not be. I can't imagine God allowing all these things. " The man thought for a moment. He didn’t answer the barber because he didn’t want to start a discussion. Soon the barber finished his haircut so they said goodbye and the man came out of the barber shop.
A few steps from the barber shop he sees a man with long, messy hair and an equally messy beard. The man looked really dirty and neglected. Freshly cut, the man turned, returned to the barber shop, and said to the surprised barber, “You know what? There are no barbers. ” "Hey, how can you say that?"
The barber asked. “I am a barber and I am here in front of you. I just cut your hair! ” "No!" Said the man. “There are no barbers. Because if they existed, people with long, run-down, dirty hair and beards like the man I just met wouldn't walk around the world. ” “That doesn’t mean barbers don’t exist. That happens when people don't come to me. " "Yes, you said it nicely." said the man, coming out of the barber shop and continuing on his way.
