Studies have shown that people with blood type A are most severely ill when they have confirmed a new type of coronavirus infection (corona19).

MBC reported on the 18th. European researchers recently analyzed the genes of more than 1,980 seriously ill patients. 

Studies have shown that even if Corona 19 is equally infected, people with blood type A are 45% more likely than average to have a serious illness.

On the other hand, the strongest blood type for corona was type O. The severity was 35% lower than others. 

In March, Chinese researchers also analyzed Wuhan patients. At this time, the results showed that people with blood type O had a lower risk of infection and type A was greater.

As a result, the authorities are focusing more on the possibility of managing patients based on differences in infection rates by blood type.
