It seems to be of a universally acknowledged fact that most kids and adults alike do tell lies on a regular basis. It may sound severe on each and everyone, but it is a bitter truth. This sober trend, going down memory lane, is on the increase and calls for unanimous overhaul, atonement and overtly nipped in the bud.

The ills of lies are so apparent that most societies of the world had paid and are still paying dearly for it. As pathetic as it is, a self inflicted ills. It is somewhat endemic in virtually every society that it now seems to be a norm and a supposed custom, to be mistaken.

Our families are not left out as it is a seemingly flagrant truth that this decimating hurricane called 'lie' emanated from some of our various homes. Broken homes, so to say. Homes where people who tell lies are considered as being smart and with wisdom, a misconception.

Upon enquiry a man in his late twenties gave me an answer that shocked me. He said that 'lie' to him is a requisite for survival, that it enables one get over any situation, which in effect would guarantee success. Whether he has a point or not is left for you, the reader to decide.

Can we now discuss this friends:

Are there benefits or woes in telling lies?

Your contribution will be highly appreciated.

Lie is an ill bug that has eaten deep into the fabric of our society. The woes of lie surpass its benefits. It is better avoided than told.
