Stretching. Stretching is very important to a dancer. Stretching helps to improve your flexibility. This paves way for you to do your dance moves with so much ease. Stretches should be done at least three to five times a week and it should be done with consistence. It may take awhile before stretches become comfortable.
Practicing the dance moves repeatedly. Research proves that by practice something over and over again,you become familiar with it. By practicing the dance moves repeatedly, you build up your muscle memory. As a result, your dance will always be on track with the music.
Watching dance videos. This is something that most successful dancers do. By watching dance videos,you learn new dance moves and different ways of dancing one particular move. You are able to pick pieces of routines made by fellow dancers and make a routine of your own. All in all,you are able to expand your dancing knowledge.
Actively listen to the music. When you actively listen to the music, you take note of the beats and the breaks in the music. You take note of when a dance move comes into the song and when not. This helps you be on track with the music. Also by actively listening to the music, you allow yourself to be moved by the music. From there,you can form a routine.
Eat smarter. Eat a lot of food that contain magnesium, iron,calcium, vitamin D,protein and much more. These help to build up your muscles.
