WHAT IS PATIENCE?

A resilient person recovers from obstacles and disappointments. This ability is acquired through experience. Just as a child cannot learn to walk without occasional falls, neither can he learn to be successful in life without occasional setbacks.

WHY IS RECEPTION IMPORTANT?

Some children are discouraged when they encounter setbacks, adversity, or criticism. Others give up completely. However, you should understand the following facts:

With some effort, failure is inevitable.

At some point, adversity affects everyone.

Correction is important for learning.

Resistance helps your child face life's challenges with confidence.

HOW TO LEARN ABOUT RESIDENCE

When your child fails.

The righteous can fall seven times and will be resurrected.

Help your child put things in perspective. For example, what would you do if you failed a school diploma? You can give up and say "I can't do anything right!"

Help your child develop an improvement strategy for teaching resilience. That way, instead of falling victim to it, you take care of the problem.

At the same time, avoid solving your child's problem. Instead, help them create their plan. You may ask, "What can you do to improve your understanding of the material you are teaching?"

When adversity strikes.

You don't know what your life will be like tomorrow.

Life is unpredictable. A rich person today can be poor tomorrow; A healthy person today can get sick tomorrow. “The rapids don't always win the race and the brave don't win the battle,” says the Bible, “because weather and unexpected events defeat them all”. Ecclesiastes 9:11.

As a parent, you take reasonable steps to protect your child from harm. In reality, however, it is not possible to protect your child from all of life's hardships.

Obviously, your child may not be old enough to experience a job loss or financial change. However, you can help them cope with other setbacks, such as the loss of a friendship or the death of a family member.

When your child receives constructive criticism.

Listen to the advice. . . be wise in your Future

Constructive criticism is not bullying; It is a direction that governs an action or an attitude that must change.

By teaching your child to accept corrections, you both avoid a lot of pain. “If the kids always run away from their mistakes,” says a father named John, “they'll never learn”. They will move from one problem to another and you will spend your life putting out the fires they start. It makes the life of parent and child miserable. ""

How can you help your child benefit from constructive criticism? If your child gets it at school or elsewhere, resist the temptation to say that the correction is unfair. Instead, you can ask:

"Why was the correction made?"

"How can you improve yourself?"

"What should you do next time in this situation?"

Remember that constructive criticism will be of great help to your child not only now but also in adulthood.Mother helps daughter who is frustrated because a cake she made has gone wrong

TRAIN NOW

A child who can recover from disappointments and mistakes is more likely to endure and master their learning skills.
