My Strict Professor | Personal Confession 02-20-22 | Eurydice Yesterday, our school registrar posted our class schedule and subjects in the 2nd semester (by the way I'm already a college student) to our FaceBook Group. After I saw the notification, I was excited to open it because I want to know who will be our teachers for the 2nd semester. Aside from that, I'm also hoping that our terror teacher in the First semester will not be included in the Professor lists because we're kinda intimidated by her. I immediately looked for our former teacher's name in the list and luckily, she wasn't there. After a moment of time, I got confused if I'll become happy that she wasn't there or not. It's due to the fact that even if she's not that approachable teacher, I can say that she was the most competent teacher among the rest. She's maybe terror and strict, but she was so dedicated to her work. There were times where she wasn't feeling well but she still chose to teach us (online classes). She will always say ***"You know what Class, I'm not feeling well. But because I love you, I chose to be here with you today"***. Hearing those words was like music to my ears. I was so amazed by her dedication in teaching. I admit that there were times where I get scolded by her during reporting. That was the main reason why I was challenged to do my best. I cannot deny that I wasn't hurt by her words but I just consider it as my motivation to do better next time. I was under her mentorship for almost 3 years. As I looked back, I was so proud of myself since I was able to overcome her teaching approach. I can still remember those times where she keep on reminding us that **WE ARE RESPONSIBLE OF OUR OWN LEARNING.** She was not a traditional teacher who is dependent in books and that was the reason why I admire her a lot. I cannot describe her through words because no word can describe how perfect she was. But if you saw Doc. Carlos, one of the panelists during SMNI Philippine Presidential Debates, they were perfectly alike. The way they speak, their knowledge and their aura are similar from one another. As a student, it was a big privileged to become one of her students. Because of her, I was able to practice my english speaking skills and such. Aside from those, I also learned many things from her and here are just few. "Learning is a painful Process" *She would always say everytime she gave a task that learning is always a painful process. As a student, it's our responsibility to embrace it especially if we wanted to produce high quality outputs. We have to deal with the deadlines, the rubrics, the pressure and etc. We can't get high grades if we will not exert our 101% effort on a specific projects or activities.* "Show me" *Just like what I have said, she wasn't a common traditional teacher who will just rely in books. In other words, she was a modern teacher who believe in the importance of Outcome-Based Education. In every activities, she wanted us to show what we have learned whether its oral recitation, project making and any other classroom activities. Everytime we have oral recitation, she always remind us to construct proper sentences and for the thought to be clear, we have to give examples in it. There must be an introduction, A body where we can insert real-life examples and conclusion. Through this, she can be able to determine if our sentences or answers have substance or not.* "You are not a reporter, you are a teacher!" *As a future educator, we are trained by our professor on how to become an effective teacher. Everytime there is a reporting, she would always remind us to keep in mind that we're not reporters who will just give ideas to the whole class but we must practice to grasp the ideas of our students. We must not give theories without making sure that our students really understand. To better assess the students, we have to ask them questions regarding with the topic for us to evaluate if they learned something out of the discussion. A teacher must also be good in constructing good questions especially during formative assessments.* **"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) 02-20-22 | Eurydice I was scrolling in my FaceBook NewsFeed tonight and I was hook by a post from Jessica Soho (a Philippine news anchor and journalist) about a man who undergone In-Vitro Fertilization. While reading the FaceBook post, I got a little bit curious of how In Vitro Fertilization works because I was amaze of how expensive it was. According to the person in that post, he spent approximately 9 million pesos (lang naman) for the entire process. Like (WOW), 9 million Pesos? Honestly, I really love the subject **"Human Reproduction"** . That was one of our subject before when I was still a first year college student. Don't get me wrong, I just like this subject because it gave me an idea of how fertilization occur. Aside from that, I also love science most specifically, Biology. Back to the main topic which is about In Vitro Fertilization. Here are some facts that you should know about it. **What Is In Vitro Fertilization?** *It is a type of Assistive Reproductive Technology (ART). It entails extracting eggs from the ovaries of a woman and fertilizing them with sperm. An embryo is a fertilized egg that has been fertilized. The embryo can then be frozen or transplanted to a woman's uterus for storage.* **How Is In Vitro Fertilization Performed?** Based on my own research, here are the 5 steps involved in In Vitro Fertilization. I. Simulation *During each menstrual cycle, a woman generally produces one egg. IVF, on the other hand, necessitates the use of several eggs. The chances of producing a viable embryo are increased when many eggs are used. Fertility medicines will be given to you to help your body generate more eggs. During this time, your doctor will conduct regular blood tests and ultrasounds to check egg production and determine when they should be retrieved.* **ll. Egg Retrieval** *Follicular aspiration is the term for egg retrieval. It's an anesthetic-assisted surgical treatment. A needle will be guided into your vaginal canal, into your ovary, and into an egg-containing follicle using an ultrasound wand. Each follicle will be suctioned for eggs and fluid with the needle.* **III. Insemination** *The male spouse will now be required to provide a sample of sperm. In a petri dish, a technician will mix the sperm with the eggs. If this does not result in embryos, your doctor may choose for ICSI.* **IV. Embryo Culture** *Your doctor will keep an eye on the fertilized eggs to make sure they're dividing and growing properly. At this phase, the embryos may be tested for genetic disorders.* **V. 3 things your dog would tell you 02-19-22 | Eurydice *"Man's best friend."* It's a common phrase to us especially to those who love dogs. Dogs became man's bestfriend because of their loyalty and companionship to humans. I do love dogs, as a matter of fact we have 6 dogs at home. Maybe I will publish another article for our six dogs soon. As a human, it is our responsibility to take good care of our dogs and we also need to understand them. Dogs are not like humans, they can't speak and they can't express what they really want which causes the owner to get irritated. Honestly, there are times where I get irritated to our dogs because of their ways in expressing themselves. I sometimes misinterpreted their behaviors which made me feel upset. But again, as a responsible owner, we must understand and respect them. We must understand that they are not like us who can speak. We must respect them because they are created by our Almighty Father. For us to better understand them, here are the 3 things your dogs would tell you. "My Life is likely to 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be painful. Remember that before you get me." *We already have dogs since I'm still young. I got to witness how they grow. Taking care of dogs is like taking care of babies. As a dog lover, I got to experienced feeding our puppies in a small nursing baby bottles. They are so cute while they sip the milk in the bottle. It became my hobby since I was the one who is compassionate in taking care of our dogs among our family. It seems like I was nurturing a baby. The sad thing about this is when the puppy became adult. I cannot accept the fact that they can only live 10-15 years. I can still remembered how our dogs died in front of me due to their age. It's really hard to accept but I must always remember that everything has an end.* " Give me time to understand what you want from me" *I have this dog named "Yougi". Among our six dogs, she is our favorite. We let her roam in our sala and sleep there. We only let her go outside when it's evening because we have to lock our doors. One night, I was asked by my mother to lock the doors. I saw Yougi sleeping under our dining table. I wake her up and told her to go outside. She didn't mind me and continue sleeping. Instead of hurting her, I carried her outside and lay her in a comfortable place where she can continue sleeeping. Sometimes, as human, we should be the one to adjust.* " Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice while you are speaking to me" *I always do this one to our dogs. I always spend time to talk to them even if they don't understand it. The more we got to talk to our dogs, the more they become familiar to our voice. There was one time where one of our dogs became irritated over something. None of my family were able to make him calm except for me. I just called him by his name and talk something to him like "what happened to my baby" something like that. After saying those words, he became calm because of my voice.* ***Sometimes, Dogs are better than humans. Everytime I'm sad, talking to our dogs became my remedy.*** That's all for today. The truth behind the movie "A walk to remember" 02-18-22 | Eurydice *"Love is patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love take no pleasure in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes". - Nicholas Sparks | A walk to remember* This line was from the movie " A walk to remember " which was written by Nicholas Sparks. Nicholas Charles Sparks was a novelist, screenwriter, and philanthropist from the United States. He has written twenty-two novels and two non-fiction books, all of which have become New York Times bestsellers, selling over 115 million copies in more than 50 languages. One of those book was entitled **A WALK TO REMEMBER.** I can still remember those days where I was looking for a free PDF copy in the internet since I can't afford to buy the book. Unfortunately, I was not able to find one but I'm still happy when I found out that there was a movie about it. As a viewer, if given a chance to rate the movie itself, I will definitely give it a 10/10. The movie doesn't just about the common love story that we can see in other movies. This movie was wonderfully made and portrayed. Aside from the amazing story plots, the casts that they chose to portray the movie were just amazing. To my read.cash family who doesn't have an idea about this movie, here is a short synopsis. *Landon Carter remembers his senior year at Beaufort High every April, when the sea breeze mingles with the perfume of lilacs. Landon had previously dated a few of girls by 1958. He even claimed to have been in love before.* *Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's Baptist preacher, was the last person he expected to fall for in town. Jamie looked satisfied to live in a world apart from the other teenagers, a quiet girl who always carried a Bible with her schoolbooks. She looked after her widowed father, rescued injured animals, and volunteered at a local orphanage. She had never been asked out by a boy. Being with Jamie would teach him the depths of the human heart and lead him to a surprising decision that would set him on the path to adulthood inexorably...* Since I was hook in this movie, I tried to search for some surprising facts about it and this is what I found. A walk to remember was inspired by Nicholas Spark's sister. In other words, it was based on true story. *According to Sparks, he was often asked of which novel is his favorite. He can't choose among his novels but if he will going to choose which novel was his favorite to write, he chose A walk to remember. In fact, he got emotional while writing the book because of the character of Jamie Sullivan (main female lead role) which was sweet and full of positivity in life.* *He then disclosed the information that the character of Jamie Sullivan in the book was inspired by his sister, Danielle Sparks Lewis. Like Jamie Sullivan, his sister was sweet, she had a tremendously strong faith, she loved the church, she wasn't popular at school, she was always cheerful and all she wanted in her life was to get married.* *And like Jamie, his sister was a cancer patient.* *She then met Landon Carter (main male lead role) who never imagined to date a girl like her. But Landon cannot help himself but to fell in love with Jamie even if he already know that Jamie was seriously ill. In fact, he married Jamie to prove the love that he have for her.* *Nicholas Sparks wanted to share to everyone the lovestory of his sister and the sacrifices of his husband for her. He wanted everyone to realize that love conquers all. Unfortunately, his sister died last June (2000) she was 33 years old that time.* After knowing that this was based on a true story, I got a little bit shocked and emotional at the same time. I wasn't expecting the truth behind it. I'll never get tired of watching this movie because this movie gave a big impact to my life. This movie made me believe that True love do exist. Love can really change a person's point of views and behaviors. Love is sacrifice. Positivity in life helps you to achieve those things which people never expected from you. The story behind the movie "Apocalypto" | The Mayan Civilization 02-15-22 | Eurydice *The movie "Apocalypto" is one of the best movies that I watched in my entire life. This movie showed me the things that I thought impossible to happen. This movie was violent, it's all about killings and more on rituals and beliefs. I can still visualize what happened in the movie and how traumatic it was. Since I'm a curious lady, I was not contented with what I saw in the movie. That is why I made a research and these are what I found.* APOCALYPTO | MOVIE SYNOPSIS But first, let me give you a synopsis about the movie. *The Mayan monarchy is at its pinnacle of opulence and power, but the empire's foundations are beginning to crumble. The rulers believe that until they construct more temples and sacrifice more people, their crops and citizens will perish. A raid captures Jaguar Paw (Rudy Youngblood), a calm hunter in a secluded tribe, along with his entire village. Until he makes a daring escape and returns to his pregnant wife and son, he is set for a ceremonial sacrifice.* This movie talks about a small villagers who was being colonized by the Mayan Tribe. Jaguar's father who was the ruler of their small tribe was killed in front of him. Luckily, he got a chance to escape and he was able to hide his pregnant wife and son. Upon fighting, he was captured by the Mayans together with his co-villagers and that was the start of their sufferings. They were captured to become the sacrifice of the Mayans because they believed that the more people they sacrificed, the more abundant their life would be. MAYAN RITUALS BEHEADING AND DISEMBOWELING *They were known for pinning their captives to temples and cutting out their hearts, which they then offered to their gods while still beating. The Maya also hacked the hearts out of their victims.* From what I saw in the movie, they hacked the hearts out of the victims and behead them. After that, they will roll the head down in the stairs where all the Mayan people preceded to run to get the head of the victim. RITUAL BLOODLETTING *Ritual bloodletting was another part of Maya blood sacrifice. The early Maya punctured their flesh to offer blood to the gods. Maya monarchs and lords would puncture their skin with sharp things like stingray spines, usually in the genitals, lips, ears, or tongues.* As what we can see in the picture above, they have a lot of piercings. The Mayan often use Jewelry as a way to showcase their social status. FACTS ABOUT THE ANCIENT MAYA They Were More Violent Than Originally Thought *The Maya were once thought to be a peaceful people who were satisfied to stare at the skies and trade jade and lovely feathers with one another. That was before current experts figured out what the glyphs on the sculptures and temples meant. The Maya were just as ferocious and warlike as their later northern rivals, the Aztecs. War scenes, killings, and human sacrifices were carved into stone and left on public structures. The city-state fighting became so severe that many people believe it contributed significantly to the Maya civilization's eventual decline and fall.* They Saw Their Gods in the Sky *Maya astronomers were obsessive astronomers who meticulously recorded the movements of the stars, sun, moon, and planets. They kept meticulous records of eclipses, solstices, and other astronomical occurrences. They thought that the sun, moon, and planets were gods who moved back and forth between the heavens, the underworld (Xibalba), and the Earth, which explains why they observed the heavens so closely. Ceremonies were held at Maya temples to commemorate celestial phenomena like as equinoxes, solstices, and eclipses.* They Had Kings and Royal Families *There was a king in every major city-state (or Ahau). The Maya monarchs claimed to be divine ancestors because they claimed direct descent from the sun, moon, or planets. Because he drank god's blood, the Ahau was a vital link between the realms of man and the heavens and underworld, and he was frequently involved in ceremonies. The Ahau was a wartime leader who was expected to fight as well as participate in the ceremonial ball game. When the Ahau died, his son usually took over as monarch, though there were exceptions. Edward Cullen | Hopeless Romantic Lovestory 02-14-22 | Eurydice I already published an article today at exactly 12:30 in the morning entitled "My Significant Other | Valentine's Day Edition". I decided to make one to kill time and aside from that, I also have an idea of what to write today. Yesterday, I asked my boyfriend to make some list of the most important ideas/contents that I could write in this platform. I was a little bit shocked because he wanted me to share in this platform the letter that I made for my long time crush way back 2016-2017 (OMG). At first, I was hesitant because I'm afraid that he might get mad or he was just joking. After an hour, I asked him again and he told me the same words. After securing that he's not mad and it's okay for him, I decided to make it happen. By the way, before I met my current boyfriend, I was this hopeless romantic girl. Hopeless Romantic means **someone who loves the idea of being in love and tends to think of love as having fairy-tale qualities**.  We cannot deny that once in our high school life, we experienced to adore someone secretly. We experienced to have a "CRUSH" to be exact (Haha). When I was in Grade 11, I had a crush on someone. He was a transferee from other school. I personally gave him a nickname "EDWARD CULLEN". I know that many of us, if not all, knew this very young and fine man which was the main lead role of the movie " Twilight". I named him "Edward Cullen" because just like the person in the picture above, he is also handsome, he have a very white skin, red lips, dark eyebrows and mysterious eyes. In other words, I was so addicted to him (NOON LANG PO HAHA). In fact, he became my crush for almost 2 years before I met my boyfriend. Due to the fact that I got addicted to him, I personally wrote a letter about him which I first sent to my current boyfriend (since we started as friends). That's the reason why he suggested to make it as my content because he knows how long it was. HAHAH Here how it goes.... **EDWARD CULLEN** *I'm not a fan of the movie twilight nor the character of Edward Cullen. But after this man came to our school, he opened my eyes that the fictional character of Edward Cullen can also be possible in reality.* *Somebody also called him "R" from the movie "Warm Bodies" because of his gestures, the way he walks and because he is thin enough to fit the character of R. He has a very white and glossy skin like the skin of Snow white but of course, snow white is not the topic here.* *His classmates calls him "Supremo" from the movie "La Luna Sangre" it's because of his appearance, his dark hair, scary but pleasing eyes and the way he interact to others. He's not that friendly and he's not that talkative. He's just so simple. A simple man who has no idea how handsome he is.* *I know him, he know me. He knew that I exist, he knew that I had an ultimate crush on him, he knew that I madly, deeply admired him. BUT HE IGNORED IT. He don't like me, I don't know why. I did everything to get his attention, I became active in school just for him to notice me, but I failed.* *I made their Grade Level to be the respondents of our research paper because I know that in this way, I will have a chance to talk to him. To know his background, and his personal information.* *I chose their section also to be my students when I was selected to be one of the student teachers in our school, with the same reason. I want him to notice me. But he didn't.* *Time passed by, 2 years to be exact. I'm still like this, nothing's changed. We became friends in FaceBook. We chatted each other almost everyday. He became sweet sometimes, and I became confused. Am I just your option?* *I tried to pushed you away, I tried to stop this feelings for you. I even blocked you in FaceBook. But here I am, I ended up unblocking you. I confessed my feelings for you, I told you that I like you, I asked you to stop liking my posts. But you refused. And here I am again, I became confused with your feelings for me.* *BNSAT NIGHT came, we decided to meet up. I'm excited, super excited. That night was our first long face-to-face conversation and the first night that I saw your face closer. You chatted me that you're coming, you just don't know how my heartbeats so fast. I was looking for you, and then you appeared at my back. Your sweet scent, your handsome face, your wet hair and then I concluded that you're a duplicate of Edward Cullen. When fiction comes into reality indeed!* *We walked together, our first walk together. Just the two of us. I can't just say any single word because my tongue was stuck and my mouth suddenly zipped. And then I realized that I'm so lucky to be with you. You just don't know that. We watched the program together, we sat together. I can smell your sweet scent, the scent that I will never ever forget. And that was the happiest BNSAT NIGHT ever. It's because I'm with you. I'm with my long time crush.* *The program ended, and that's the sign that we should go home. You know what? I really don't want to go home. Time runs too fast when I'm with you and I hate it. We walked home, I don't know what to say. We walked silently, and it rained. Why does it rained? Is it because the clouds were so happy to see us together? We walked in separate paths, I said Goodbye and you do the same. As I walk, I really smiled, smiled so widely. I just can't believe it. I even can't go to sleep, remembering every moment when we are together. I can say that I'm obsessed. Yes, I really admit that.* *The day after that night, I never planned to go to watch the acoustic band. But because of some reasons I was forced to. My friends wants you to come also, that is why I chatted you, and you said you're coming. The excitement never fades, the same excitement on our first meet up. Again, you looked so fresh and handsome. Your scent was too sweet and it really smells good. We went to my friend's house. I'm afraid that you'll feel bored that is why I decided to go outside, with you.* *You followed. I don't know where to go. We're like idiots walking in no direction that is why I decided to go back to my friend's house. We stayed outside, we sat together and I can feel some electricity throughout my veins. We talked so many topics, we talked about your life, my life as well and the stars. You know what? I really love stars and orion's belt is my favorite constellation.* *After that night, I realized something. I realized that you're different. You're somewhat different. Different from other guys. My Significant Other | Valentine's Day Edition 02-14-22 | Eurydice Happy Valentine's Day my read.cash family! Honestly, I really love this occasion for the reason that I got to see a lot of couple celebrating and enjoying. But we must always remember that we should spread love to our loved ones even in normal days. Spreading love doesn't necessarily means buying expensive gifts or giving material things but we must remember that we should do it with sincerity and purity. Indeed, it's the effort that counts. No matter how expensive your gifts are, how fancy your dates would be, if you can't show sincerity to your partners, all of that will be worthless. My boyfriend visited me earlier here in our house. (Yes, we are legal in both sides). Just like what we always do everytime he's here, we played online games and cooked our lunch and dinner together. At exactly 9:00 pm, he bid goodbye because he need to fetch his Mom. I prepared his things and accompanied him to his motorcycle, after a minute he uttered these words "Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I'm sorry I'm not here and we can't celebrate together because I have to work. Don't worry, I will make bawi". I just nodded and gave him a smile because I understand him and his presence right now is enough for me. Hearing those words from him makes me feel so special even if we are already in our 4th anniversary. The " kilig" is still there and I can say that he never changed since he is always consistent just like how he was in the earlier years of our relationship. *I will not share our lovestory for now because it's kinda long and I need another article for that. My Girlfriends 02-13-22 | Eurydice *"Friendship is like stepping on a wet cement. The longer you stay, the harder for you to let go. But once you are gone, you cannot go without leaving a single but memorable print" -* Anonymous I woke up with a trembling feet and body because of the cold weather that we are experiencing right now here in our place. This kind of cloudy and cold weather really made me lazy to do the tasks at home. I am still lying in my bed as of the moment even if it's already 8:00 in the morning. I immediately get my phone and browse in my facebook albums to ease my boredom. As I scroll the pictures in my albums, I noticed that almost all of the pictures in my Facebook Account were my Senior High School friends. I cannot deny that High School life is indeed one of the best years of my life. In high school, I was able to enjoy my life without worrying for my future. Unlike now that I'm in college, the pressure of becoming an adult really hits me hard. I decided to make an article about my friends in Senior High School because even if we are now in a separate paths since we were attending a different university/college, I still treated them as my beloved and treasured Friends. Honestly, we got a little misunderstanding for almost 2 years (2019-2021) because of some personal reasons. I blocked them in facebook because I'm this kind of person who can easily get hurt and offended over small things. In short, I am a sensitive person. But they still reached me out and ask forgiveness even if they don't know the reason behind my childish attitude. From that moment I realized that they are really my friends because they still wanted me to be in their pack despite of blocking them in my social media. *Well, these are my friends that I'm talking about.* **LALAINE** She's a very sweet and kind type of person. I consider her as my friend whom I can easily get along. It's kinda obvious in the picture above HAHA. I can tell her almost everything because she always give time to listen without judgements. Aside from that, she's also smart and beautiful. She's a model in the making because she's tall and sexy. She is now currently studying in a prestigious university in their town where she took Teacher Education which is similar to mine. ABIGAIL I have known her eversince Elementary. We are not that close in elementary and early years of High School because we have different circle of friends. We just became friends in Senior High School (Grade 11 and 12). She is smart and beautiful lady with a kind heart. Every free time, she always invites us to her pad where we watched movies and music videos. Aside from that, she was also a Beauty Queen because she won as the "Miss BNSAT 2018". By the way, it is a school beauty pageant. She is now currently studying in a prestigious University in our town where she took Business Administration. IVY This person is my confidant. We may not hang out every day, but I can rely on this person with my deepest secret. This friend has never betrayed me. Always by my side during my weakest moments. She's as loyal as a diamond. Everytime I have a problem, she's always ready to listen and to give advices. In fact, she helped me a lot in terms of moral, intellectual and spiritual aspects. She is now currently studying together with Abigail where they took Business Administration. *Lalaine, Abigail and Ivy are one of the most significant persons in my life. Why "Eurydice"? | Real Name Reveal 02-12-22 | Eurydice I guess, many of you here in read.cash (if not all) are familiar to Greek Mythology. For those who don't, **Greek mythology** is a body of stories concerning the gods, heroes, and rituals of the ancient Greek. In other words, its genre is all about Ancient Greek Folklore concerning the origin and nature of the world, the lives and activities of deities, heroes, and mythological creatures, and the origins and significance of the ancient Greeks' own cult and ritual practices. Obviously, that became the reason why I chose the username name "Eurydice". In Ancient Greek the name Eurydice means "wide justice", where eurys means "wide" and dike means "justice". The correct pronunciation of Eurydice in English is **Yuh-rid-ih-see.** For those who are not familiar with Eurydice, she was a nymph in Greek mythology, one of the daughters of the god Apollo. Sadly, our group was assigned to other story where I became the Goddess of Agriculture, Persephone. I was jealous to my classmate who portrayed Eurydice. I wanted to portray her role, I really want but there are times where we need to accept things especially if it's not meant for us. `Since we're talking about Presentation, I also got to portray the role of Psyche and was able to represent our School in "Informance Competition" in Division Level. For it not to spell like a country name, my aunt suggested to insert silent " e" between the letters "a & m". Even if there was an E, it's still pronounced as " Jamaica" with a silent "E" .HAHAHA The funny thing about this was that, my Father and mother wanted to name me "Jan Marie". " Jan" comes from my birthday which is "January" and "Marie" was a combination of my papa and mama's names which are "Vil(ma) and Ci(rie)lo". As the nurse's asked my father what would be my name, he almost utter the words " Jan Marie" Luckily, my Aunt came and she suggested to name me "Jaemaica". We can either learn from them or they can learn from us. Hi read.cash fam, I'm not a newbie in this site since I already made a lot of read.cash accounts in the past. But since my beautiful friend recommended me to make a new one because my last account was not active at all, I accepted her challenge hahaha. Hi @Athaliah. Tonight, I wanted to share to my read.cash family how I met the people who didn't just give lessons to my life, but the people who made me believe in the word called " Love". My first ex's name was Harold. I can describe him as a tall, dark and handsome man. I first met him during the Quadrangular Meet of our School. By the way, he was a Badminton Player. Everytime our school have a tournament, he was always chosen as their school's representative. Obviously, we are not from the same school. We officially communicated after the school tournament where we exchanged messages and such. **Why did we break up?** Our relationship lasted for 5 months. We broke up because I realized that I was not ready to be in a relationship and so as him. Another thing was that I was not into long distance relationship since our only means of communication was through facebook messenger. As of now, we are still friends on facebook. He was now happy together with my elementary friend and their 4 years old child. My second Ex's name was Joshua. He was a very charming, smart (he was a consistent honor student) and cute (because of his dimples). I met him in our school and by the way, he was my first ex's schoolmate. After the vacation, I have to go home to prepare for the enrolment. Since I was not into Long Distance Relationship, I decided to end our relationship for our own good. He was from Manila and he transfered here in our hometown. He was also from my First and Second Ex's school and he was the principal's grandson. He was considered as a heartthrob because he was so handsome. Aside from that, he was also cute specially when he tried to speak Visayan language. We first met in social media and as time passed by, we fell for each other. **Why did we break up?** Our relationship lasted for 8 months. We broke up because he needs to transfer again to the City. When he was already in the City, I felt some changes in our relationship which made me decide to end it. There are also hearsays that he was courting another girl in his school that's why I felt betrayed and insulted. We are still friends in facebook as of now and he was still waiting for the girl of his dreams. I considered all of my Ex's as one of the most significant persons in my life since I was able to learn many things from them which made me who I am today. Currently, I am enjoying my life together with my 4 years boyfriend. The lessons that I got from my Ex's which are to be matured, to trust someone wholeheartedly and to be patient all the time helped me to become a better girlfriend to my man.
