Can anyone tell me why youth of current generation adds quote under the selfie or image taken? I got my first mobile in 2014 so I am bit old to understand the logic.

I don't do it but there's nothing wrong on it, as long as the quote is related to the picture. It's their life, their rules. If that's what makes them happy, let them be. As long as they're not hurting other people by doing it.
ups I don´t know either, but maybe it´s why I´m much older than you hihihi, my first mobile had a weight of 3,9 KG and was 40 x 8 x 30cm in the mid 80´s ;)
Beyond me. I got my first one in 2001 but then I am pretty ancient. I think it is the drive for individuality in a world that values acceptance above all other values. That's a bit deep isn't it lol
