📜And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” And he said, “Go, and say to this people… *Isaiah 6:8 (ESV)*
📋One of the most difficult but rewarding things to do on earth is to become God’s mouthpiece. Carrying the message of the Almighty is the most delicate thing to do because God demands accuracy and one cannot afford to doctor his message. Difficult as it may be, the Lord decided to lay this responsibility on fallen human beings like us. He knows we are weak but has placed this responsibility on us. The call to become God’s mouthpiece is not left to only pastors, evangelists and prophets. Every Christian is called to become God’s representative on earth and therefore is under obligation to carry his message to all and sundry. We are to speak against the ills of society and to cause the will of God to prevail. Isaiah willingly surrendered. The Lord consecrated him by purging him of his sins and touching his lips with a coal of fire. He then proceeded to proclaim the message of the Lord. In the same way, Christians have been purged by the blood of Jesus and are commanded to speak on God’s behalf everywhere. Are you obeying the call of God? Are you truly God’s conscience in this crooked world?
