📜Happy is the person who finds wisdom and gains understanding, for the profit of wisdom is better than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her…She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying…happy are those who hold her tightly *Proverbs 3:13-19 (NLT)*
📋Proverbs is the book of heavenly wisdom for our earthly walk. Wisdom is knowledge of what is true or right coupled with right judgment as to action—knowing the truth and applying the truth. Wisdom is knowledge that comes from instruction, training, and discipline, and the insight that results from knowing and applying God’s truth by thinking through situations and making correct choices. A young bank clerk earned promotion to vice president – a position of great responsibility for which he felt ill-equipped. He approached the wise and aged bank president and asked. “Sir what is the secret of success in my new position?” The president replied, “Right decisions”. “And what is the secret of making right decisions?” The president replied, “Experience”. “And, sir what is the secret of gaining experience?” The president smiled as he replied, “Wrong decisions.” In life, the goal is to make right decisions. Wisdom is required to make right decisions. Solomon chose wisdom above all else and that should be our first choice too. If you desire it, you can boldly ask God today through prayer and you can be sure your request would be granted. (James 1:5).
