*📖BE STRONG IN THE LORD*

📜…Lastly, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his power… *Ephesians 6:10 (BBE)*
📋The Kingdom of God is not a family of weaklings. A strong heart is needed to remain a child of God in a carnal world. For example, we need to be brave to refuse sinful offers; to choose forgiveness above revenge. Doing God’s will requires a strong resolve to defy the contrary indications. The human realm dominated by sinful and satanic ideas are always fighting those who do God’s will. Paul told the Ephesian Church to be strong, putting on the whole armour of the Lord—prayer, faith, the truth of the word of God and take their stand against the enemy. This suggests that he was concerned with the possible failure of some to stand the test of their time. He was not talking of physical strength but spiritual, emotional and intellectual strength born of faith in God. It requires us to have personal principles derived from scripture. Being strong is a state of mind; although we care for those who are weak, it is not a virtue for a believer to feel he or she is a victim needing help from people. Our faith in Christ builds in us strength of character and heart to endure until we are victorious. Gather strength in the Lord, hold on until you win. Be strong in the Lord!
