*📖HOW MAJESTIC IS YOUR NAME!*
👉(Reading: Psalm 8:1-9)

📜O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens *Psalm8:1 (ESV)*
📋Our recognition of who God is determines our faith in him. This recognition also affects our walk with him. If we recognize God’s character as revealed in the Scriptures, we cannot hold back but worship him. David, in today’s text, pondered over the universe and how God endowed humanity with dignity. He looked at the vastness of the universe and declared, “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?” (v 3-4). Mankind indeed looks very tiny in the face of the vastness of the universe and David wondered why God placed that huge value on humanity. He therefore declared that God deserves to be worshipped. Indeed, God created us in his image and has put us in charge of his creation. We have become his development partners. We have the power to advance his creation and to enjoy all the benefits that accrue thereof. That is why we need to thank him and declare his majesty to the whole world. Our duty is to give him the glory daily for what he has placed at our disposal. How are you declaring his majesty to those around you?
