*📖GOD WILL SURELY BLESS THE RIGHTEOUS*

👉(Reading: Psalm 5:1-12)

📜But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favour as with a shield *Psalm 5:11-12 (ESV)*

📋The righteous are those who trust, love and look up unto God in everything. They acknowledge him as the Creator and Sustainer of their lives. The righteous therefore, wait on God even in the face of calamities knowing that, he will show up by all means. The Psalmist trusted his God and continued to call on him even when the wicked continued to boast of their power. He did not allow the pride of the wicked and their love for destruction to confuse him. He knew that the wicked and the bloodthirsty evil people, who mock him and await his destruction, would finally come face to face with God in judgment. He therefore found consolation in his God and declared that those who took refuge in him shall rejoice because God would spread his protection over these who love and exalt his name. God will surely bless the righteous and cover them with favour as with a shield. Are you overburdened with a load of care? Are you disappointed because of the wicked? Don’t give up. Continue to trust him. Your blessing is surely on the way.
