*📖SEEKING HIS PRESENCE*
👉(Reading: Mark 1:35-39)

📜Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went to a solitary place, where he prayed *Mark 1:35 (NIV)*
📋We live in a busy world where so many things are competing for our attention. Early in the morning you are woken up by a phone call or a whatsApp message tone calling your attention. Then there’s the early morning news and the need to beat the early traffic to work. This runs through the day and we see ourselves not having time with the Lord. But no matter how busy we think we may be, we need to find time to be in the presence of God. When we spend quiet time in his presence, we are able to listen to him and to also draw strength from him. Jesus knew this very well so in spite of his busy schedules, he wakes up early in the morning and withdraws to a quiet place to stay in the presence of his Father. I believe it’s that constant fellowship in his Father’s presence that gave him the needed anointing and energy to meet the needs of all the people who throng to him daily for help. The Church today is interested in bringing together the multitudes for revivals and conferences. These are not bad in themselves but we must learn as individuals to make time in his presence. As Christians we must learn to spend more time in his presence. Have you been in his presence today?
