📜Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear *Ephesians 4:29 (ASV)*
📋As Jesus’ disciples, we must know that words produce results. God created the world with words, and we create our world with our words. When our hearts are corrupt, we speak words from our corrupt hearts. We are to speak the truth always, say things which are just and edifying. You must believe the life Christ promised even though you see death staring at you. You must speak like Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego, “Oh king live forever! Even if our God does not save us, we will not bow to your idol (image).” The barren woman whose miracle child died told Elijah “it is well”, when she was coming to report about her son’s death. It was well with her in the end. She had her son back to life. What we say is the life we breathe into whatever we are seeing. The Kingdom of God is contrary to the kingdom of this world. If we re-echo the mind of the world, we enable the world to rule over us. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If you are full of faith, you will speak faith. Watch the words you speak.
