*📖THE MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM*
👉(Reading: Acts 20:17-35)
🗓Monday, October 12
📜Now… none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men *Acts 20:25-26 (NIV)*
📋In all his letters, Paul declared the word and taught it boldly, telling sinners to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ. In today’s text he did not talk like a witness, but like a herald. A witness only tells about what he sees or happens to him, but a herald tells what the king tells him to declare. The preacher’s duty is to declare to hearers exactly the message from the king. Also, Paul acted like a watchman on the fence wall, watching every movement of the enemy and warning people of any approaching danger. In the body of Christ, there is always a witness, a herald, or a watchman declaring the good news of God. Paul was a faithful witness, herald and a watchman and therefore, confidently declare that he was “innocent of the blood of all men.” Are you also a faithful witness, herald, or a watchman? Have you responded to the messages of the witnesses, heralds, or watchmen that have declared the good news of the Kingdom to you? Your willingness or unwillingness to repent is a choice, but the wise option is to choose the right path which leads to heaven—the path of repentance. Be sure to make the right choice. Have you made that choice yet?
