📜Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands *Acts14:3 (KJV)*
📋Paul the apostle knew so much about how to fellowship with God. He exercised so much power than most of his contemporaries. One mark of the early church was the boldness they exhibited in preaching and teaching the gospel. They didn’t only have the word, faith or the Holy Ghost but boldness as well. Many believers today have faith; they know the word but lack the level of boldness needed to declare the gospel. As God’s righteous people, we have some level of boldness in us (Proverbs 28:1). But this level of boldness cannot do exploits in the kingdom of God. We need a higher dimension of boldness to turn the world upside down. In Acts 4:29-31, the apostles prayed for boldness to preach. Paul asked the Ephesian believers to pray for him for boldness to preach the gospel (Ephesians 6:19- 20). The missing link in the church today is the element of boldness. Paul summarizes the whole matter on boldness in 2 Corinthians 3:12. After an exposition on the new creation realities, he said, “seeing that we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech.” The attitude of the new creation in Christ should be that of great boldness. Do you speak boldly for the Lord?
