📜He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the cross and marched them naked through the streets *Colossians 2:15 (TM)*
📋The victory of Christ over the devil is the believers’ victory over the devil. We need to believe the finished work of Jesus and confess them. Acting on what we believe is what would make us wield power over the enemy and keep him under our feet where he belongs. Unfortunately, not all believers are experiencing this liberty in Christ. They have not been taught who they are in Christ in order to confess and live according to those truths. The devil and his cohorts are alive and have schemes with which they tempt and fight against the children of God. But the Bible says that God has “disarmed the powers and principalities” that fight against us. We need to tell the devil in the face that he is a defeated foe. That’s how to keep him where he belongs—the realm of defeat. The devil by legalities cannot put or force anything on us. The only thing he can do is to suggest thoughts to us and if we yield to his deceptions, we fall into sin. But this should never be your story. Stand on the promises of God’s word and declare your victory through Christ over the devil, for victory has already been secured on your behalf.
