📜Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.… *Psalm 95:6-7 (NIV)*
📋The Lord of the universe deserves our worship because he is our creator. The word worship means giving honour to a higher authority. Worship should not happen only in church meetings, but it should be a daily personal affair. Our duty as human beings is to daily bless the Lord for his sovereignty. In Revelation 5:13, the vast choir of all creation praise the Lord, and one day we shall join that holy choir to offer worship to the Lord our Maker. Worshipping and praising the Lord require knowing who you are and who the Lord is. What do we see around us today? People are giving praise to human beings more than to God the Creator, which is a display of complete ignorance. But God’s people should know better and worship him, who alone is worthy of our praise. The world system, which is under Satan’s control, subtly takes our attention from God, who alone truly deserves to be adored and glorified. However, we the redeemed of the Lord have a duty to always praise, adore and worship our great God and Saviour. How often do you make time to worship your Maker and Saviour?
