Cryptocurrencies are severely underutilized in developing countries.

Lebanon used to be one of the most prosperous nations in the 60s, even earning the privilege of being called not only "The Paris of the Middle East" but also "The Switzerland of the Middle East" It had a great Banking Sector, and was a popular tourism destination.

However in recent years, especially in the year 2020, things went from bad to worse, with the whole economic sector shitting itself due to corruption and geopolitics (not important to the topic)

The $400 minimum salary become $50 in the spam of a year, prices skyrocketed and Banks stopped giving depositors money in dollars, complete meltdown and economic devastation.

If people had bought Bitcoin instead of putting their hard earned money in the bank, they wouldn't have been affected by this, the politicians wouldn't have been able to touch their money, but this is easy to say in hindsight.

But seeing how people are still not looking for alternatives to banks is worrying yet shows the huge possibility of growth for Bitcoin and the like, future generations will be much more open minded and won't make the same mistakes their parents did, this same situation is found in many developing countries around the world at different levels.

Imagine using the Brave browser which I'm told you can make $10 a month, would be a week's salary of a minimum wage worker, people here would jump on such opportunities if they'd become aware of them.

I myself have been ignorant of the whole cryptocurrency world because my friends have been ignorant of it, and vice versa, and we are 20-25 years old, in the following decades we will see nations such as Lebanon getting into cryptocurrency, $10 might be nothing for developed nations but it's a matter of having food on the table for a vast majority of people in third world countries.
