The United states and its ally's biggest weapons of the 21th century is their ability to inflict heavy financial damages to countries that don't fall in line with their vision, Iran, Venezuela, Russia, Syria and others have felt the heavy blow.
However the biggest losers of heavy sanctions are not the governments, they are keeping their thrones and making up for financial losses by propaganda and higher taxes, the losers are the innocent people, some might naively support their government against "imperial U.S" but they are the ones who feel the burden of hyperinflation or any other financial limitations and isolation from the global markets.
The Western world at this moment can completely cut of a country from the global financial market, Banks won't be able to deal with other banks, Paypal and all similar services would get banned, if they were there in the first place, the respective country would slowly not be able to afford imports and would import the bare necessities, and if the governments don't take actions to alleviate the sanctions, there would be mass starvation.
But wait.
There's an emerging technology out there that can and is bringing the world together, no government can stop it. Bitcoin Cash has the capability to become the international currency, we can already see emergences of freelance websites in Venezuela that accept payments in BCH, the sanctioned population doesn't have to bear the burden put on them by their governments, they can enter the global job market make real money.
This brings up concerns, the U.S will obviously not be happy with this, but if enough people raise their voices and call for freedom, they will be hesitant to put in dictatorial measures, that's the beauty of the US.
Bitcoin cash is the Swiss banking equivalent of the developing world, most just don't know it yet, but with the increased popularity of social media and globalization, slowly but surely the youth will be open to adopt foreign concepts, and if BCH can capitalize on these emerging markets, the investors back home will sleep happy, knowing they made a lot of money, while also helping out the underprivileged something that can't be said for most other such ventures.
