The many blessings of the Lord that we can't just count
Many people don't understand what is called blessings that's why they still fuss and complain about things like they're the worst people in the world.
If you begin to list your blessings through out this year you'll write a whole book and you are not even done listing them yet. That's how good our God has been and a lot of people still don't acknowledge him for his goodness. He has done more that we don't even know and can't even imagine,these things are right before our eyes but we're so blind that we can't even see them and we end up complaining like he hasn't done anything. So what are those things that he has done that we need to cite and be thankful for them everyday.... I'll list a few in this post and then I'll roll out.
Waking us up everyday
We sometimes set alarms and ask our friends to wake us up for something important in the morning but is it really the alarms or our friends that do wake us up? No
It's the Lord that does that, giving us life in the morning and allowing us to wake up is a big miracle and we need to be thankful to him for that. We just set alarms because we are hopeful and thinking we'll wake up tomorrow, it's the Lord that seals it and tell "hey!!! It's morning,get your lazy ass up" lol.
If you don't think it's the Lord,then place an alarm close to dead person and see if he or she will wake up...no they won't cause the Lord didn't wake them up.
A lot of people do sleep at night and don't wake up but we're so graces and lucky and good is so merciful that he keeps waking us up and keeping us alive each day.
So if you have nothing to thank the Lord for then this is one very important thing to thank the Lord for cause if it wasn't for Him then you wouldn't be reading this my post right now.
Healing and curing our ailments when we're sick or hurt
We all get sick and hurt sometimes at one point or the other in this life,who do you think restores your good health,heals your wounds or cure your ailments? Is it the drugs you take or the injections administered to you by the doctor, physician or nurse? No it isn't. They can't heal or make you whole again,the best they can do is administer treatment and hope that you get better by the grace of the Lord.
Like the doctors' popular saying " we can only treat, it's the Lord that heals and cures" and that is it,even the people we think are the healers and curers acknowledge God as the healer and curer. So why won't we acknowledge him and be thankful to him for healing and curing us of our ailments,pains, wounds and diseases. He alone can do it and he deserves all the praise and thanks for it.
You have a lot more he has done for you, he's keeping your loved ones safe,you can still see and read this article,you can still breath freely without any aid, some people are on oxygen right now but you're here healthy and being fine without no aids.
I'll stop here cause if I want to go on, I'll go on listing and listing till my hands will get so tired and fall off my wrists, that's how good the Lord has been and how long the list could get.
So people, don't stop praising and thanking the lord cause He has done a lot for us that we can see and mention and they're also a lot he has done that we can't see. He deserves everything. Count your many blessings,name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done and always count your blessings ahead of your stresses and you'll feel better and happier
