The journey as first time parent is the most crucial and exciting stage as an adult to experience with, some first time parents needs guidance from their own parents, some first time parents learned from YouTube, some get advices to friends who already had experience.

In our case, we don't know what to do at first, no idea how to be a parent, no idea what to do, as my own experience, I don't even know how to carry a day old baby.But Im eager to learn, in fact Im the one who carry first my new born baby. We did it all, learn some tips and tricks on how to make foods for baby, asked to our friends, guided by our parents.

Monthly journey for our baby Ari

1st month

We had a small celebration, bought cake as a token of appreciation and thanks giving for our little ari who achieved her first month cake.

Now we celebrated with three roasted chicken, roasted by myself, I remember I took three perfect hours just to cook those chicken with a ruin cake, by mistake, slipped on my hand falling on the ground 😂

We constantly bought cakes every month, as token of celebration, give thanks for the blessing and healthy baby ari.

Celebrating every month is not necessary, but it became tradition to Filipinos, Our simple life before was replaced brightly with our little ari , making our day extra ordinary, every day is special, her innocence put smile on our face. When she came to our life, everything changes, change for the better, makes us more mature in terms of decision making .

Christening celebration

One of the most crucial part, preparing for our little ari's christening We took 4 months, saving money to celebrate our little ari's christening, we made everything perfect, from give aways to the food preparation, we decided to have a sanitizer giveaway depended on the situation we are facing, when the time ari baptize scheduled, its the pandemics prime days, covid-19 affected our gathering of guest. But in the end of the day everything was great, we made sure all the guest have their covid-19 vaccination.

No matter how careful we are, theres no such thing as perfect, the cake delivered is already ruined, we didn't blame the delivery rider as we know how hard the terrain way up to the mountain, rocky road, off terrain, muddy road due to constant rain every afternoon, still even it is ruined, the taste never changed. Its still delicious in fact we order the same supplier who made the cake on ari's first birthday. sad to say I dont have any footage on her birthday as I was busy accomodating all the guest that time.

First time going to church as a family

Going to our local church, I took a snap while walking to church, its just a normal day but for me its special as i never experienced going church with complete family, I grew up with a broken family, never experienced going to church with complete family.

Own thoughts

As our own experience, being a first time parent is not a simple feat, but its worth it, everything became bright, our dull days became colourful, no exact words can explain how thankful we are that ariexia claire came into our life.
