Now the Samsung Galaxy S22 is official, it's time to take a proper look at the three phones that make up the range. And all three models have features and aspects that could tempt you to buy it over the other two.
The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus are large and small variants of the same basic design, taking some cues from last year's Galaxy S21 but shrinking the size a little and upgrading parts of the display, rear camera array and internals. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a whole new design that not only sets it apart visually from its siblings, but allows it to fit in both quad rear cameras and an integrated S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy S22 price and release date
We're delighted to see that Samsung's kept the starting prices for the S22 the same as those for the S21 series. Those are $799 for the Galaxy S22, $999 for the Galaxy S22 Plus and $1,199 for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
If you want to pre-order the phone, you can do so from today (February 9), with the retail release coming on February 25. All the carriers will be offering deals on the phone, but Samsung itself is offering free upgrades to the next highest storage capacity version of your chosen phone if you buy a 128GB or 256GB version. That's in combination with store credit, and discount on the Galaxy Tab S8, the amount depending on the model you buy
