Are you a man? How can you prove to everyone that you are a man? A wife? A child?
If a man needs a child to prove to everyone that he's a man or to avoid embarrassment then how about a woman who can't bear a child? Is she useless? Unlovable? Does it make her less of a woman?
No. I beg to disagree. A man can only become a man if he has the will to love, cherish and protect his family. If he becomes a faithful husband to his wife. I would forget all the embarrassment just to be with the woman he loves even without a child. Then that is a real man everyone. The child is the fruit of love of the two people and not a measurement to become a man.
Unlike before, couples now can still be together even if they don’t have a child, their love for each other is just enough for them to not find in other people the things that their partner couldn’t give.
Before, there was a law that for men to become men must have a child. To be their pride and to be their successor. If a man loves a woman and would do everything just to marry her but God or Allah didn't bless them with a child, and because of the law and embarrassment the man needs to find another woman to have a child with. What a pitiful life that could be?
I have an uncle who’s been married for 21 years now. For the first 19 years they haven’t got a child. Imagine, 19 long years! Of course there would be times that they would longed and dream for a child. Nevertheless, they both stayed and clung to each other. My uncle stays faithful and a loving husband to his wife. They've been praying for a long time and they didn't lose hope. And just right after 19 years, they are blessed with an adorable daughter, who is about 2 years old now. It's just funny that other people thought that it was their granddaughter when in fact it was actually their daughter. But that's not the case because the highlight is throughout the years, they’ve been together waiting for a child, my uncle is still a man even without a child. He’s a man with principles because he chooses to stay loyal and faithful to his wife. Even without a child.
