My name is Jan Kayle Eroisa. My friends used to call me Jan, Janny, Kay, Kayle, Kakay, or Kaloy, which I don’t have any idea where the last nickname came from. I’m fine with it anyway.
So, I am 21 years of age, and was born on November 16, 1999. Yeah, I just turned 21 last week. Huraay! I can finally go to the mall without lying about my real age and being nervous at the same time. I’m currently in my third year in college now in Bachelor of Elementary Education. I didn’t really know what got into me for taking this program. I thought it was just all about singing lullaby’s and all! However, I really love kids so I’m just trying to hang on.
My hobbies were reading and writing stories online. I am the girl who really loves to write stories. I really, really love to write. Either a romance, general fictions, teen fictions, sci-fic, romcom, tragic, or whatsoever, except for horrors of course! I wouldn’t dare to write any horror stories since I do have a very active and wide imagination.
So, literally, I am a friendly and optimistic person. I am also hard working and I like doing things on my own but I am also willing to work with others if needed. I am reliable that if someone asks for my help, I would help without a second thought. I am also a very imaginative person, as what I have mentioned earlier, so I really love arts. I draw and paint sometimes too. We’re only 4 in the family and I am the youngest. My brother is just a year older than me.
If you would ask me why I choose Elementary Education? Well, I choose Elementary Education since I am very fond of kids and I also believe that this is my calling. I know that being an educator is not an easy profession. It is more than a vocation.
You need to commit in order for your students to learn and succeed. Just as they say, a teacher’s primary role is to make their students fall in love with the subject. This may sound easy but it was actually the opposite, but, since I choose this path I need to try my very best. I don’t even know if I became one someday because I actually had a stage fright but I believe that if it is God’s will, then it will happen.
