The movie The Teacher’s Diary is a great movie. One of the most beautiful drama-comedy I’ve watcher. The story seems very interesting to watch. The movie has its meaningful, heartwarming, romantic, comedy and silly. It has also moments which really touches our heart knowing that there are people out there who still wanted to teach children even the place was not that typical as we live our life. The characters are nice, they really suit the characters they portray.

The love story in the movie wasn’t a typical story which we always know. The story line is quite different from other films. Usually, when watching a movie as I watched it’s beginning and middle, I got to predict it’s ending but this one is unpredicted.  Two characters who never met each other, walked the same path but in different time. Teaching kids in a remote floating houseboat school without electricity, signal, internet and it was like a haunted school. But only a one thing makes them connected with each other through a handwritten diary by teacher Ann which Mr. Song discovered.

The acting, cinematography, mise en scene, music and sound, are well balanced. The choice of music and sound effects really fits every moment. It makes the scenery complete and imaginable. The funny moments and serious ones are not that exaggerated even the movie has only few characters and mostly are just kids. After a cautious number of jokes, then comes a momentous part but they still managed the scene. The jokes aren't overriding the drama structure and the romance as well.

The movie thought us that education shouldn't be just for the sake of grades or marks, but for the sake of knowledge and understand the things around us.

As I finished the movie if I was going to rate it out of 10 it would be a 9/10. I’m wishing and hoping that there’s a part two of the movie.
