Hustle for yourself because nobody cares

Are you an unemployed university, polytechnic or college of education graduate in Nigeria? Humble yourself. Lower your expectations. Learn a second international language if you can, it open doors. Learn public speaking. Set up a poultry business. Open a business centre. Operate a commercial tricycle or bus service. Know how to buy and sell stuff (mobile phone and accessories, food items, perfumes, necklaces etc). Open a restaurant or ice cream parlour. Join Kannywoood or Nollywood if you have acting skills. Operate a car wash business.

Become a freelance reporter or analyst if you have the skills etc.

Hustle and feed yourself and your family. Pick and choose anything you can do from the above list and beyond. Don't get involved in crimes. Don't wait for government or company jobs that pay peanuts. So many people have become millionaires doing one or several of the things I mentioned. Get out of the entitlement mentality that keeps you in shackles of poverty. Don't even tell people that you are a graduate. Certificates are becoming worthless in Nigeria. Always remember that politicians cannot help all the Graduates, they can only help what they can have access to help.

The only person who cares about you is yourself!
