Working all day in the office is not healthy. You have to sit for hours, eat carelessly, plus there is a pile of work that can trigger stress. When you are too busy working, you forget to pay attention to your health.

Then, how? Don't worry, I have a few tips that can make your days at the office healthier and more vibrant (and time passes faster of course):

Eat healthy food

Feeling tired at work and finally can't do anything? The first thing to do is to eat healthy, starting with breakfast.

Breakfast helps you provide energy for the day ahead, so don't be full at breakfast. Make sure the nutritional intake that comes in at breakfast is balanced, and don't eat too much so you don't get sleepy.

Taking some time off your desk for lunch also helps you eat better and you can change the mood too.

Create an ergonomic workspace

Sitting all day can make your body sore, especially if you don't sit properly. To avoid this, it's easy, you just make your desk ergonomic by positioning the keyboard and mouse in such a way, adjust the monitor screen height at eye level, and make sure your sitting position is correct. You may also be able to use a comfortable chair and maintain your posture.

Get up and move

Don't sit still

Having an ergonomic work desk is not enough — sitting too long is also dangerous. So, so that you stay healthy and avoid various risks of illness and injury, it is very important to get up from your chair often. At least every half hour, get up from your chair and take a short walk.

Or if you want, you can remove the chair from your desk and start using a standing desk.

Avoid eye fatigue because of the computer

If you have experienced eye pain or dizziness after work, it may be because you stare at the monitor screen for too long. Taking short breaks as mentioned in the previous point can help prevent eye fatigue. When your eyes move from the screen, try to look into the distance or green colors. Specific glasses for computers also work, although a bit expensive.

Make friends with coworkers

Coworkers can be annoying and annoying sometimes, but being friends with them can make your work less stressful. In fact, according to research, those who are friendly with their co-workers live longer.

They can help you do something. As long as you don't get distracted, coworkers can increase your productivity and make you healthier.

Allocate time for exercise

Regular exercise is good for keeping you healthy and energetic, but the demands of work sometimes make it difficult for us to manage time to exercise. However, exercise doesn't have to be at the gym. You can take a moment to go up and down stairs, push-ups, sit-ups, or bring your own barbell for weight training at the office.

Cultivate a personal ritual that keeps you sane

It may sound stupid, but the rituals you do — be it making tea every morning, changing the water in the flower vase, feeding a stray cat at the office — can improve your physical and mental health! So, don't underestimate the seemingly insignificant little rituals.

Get enough sleep

Did you know that lack of sleep is not good for your health and productivity? But few of us want to change our sleeping habits for the better. If you're having a hard time getting enough sleep at night, try sneaking a nap at the office for a while. A short nap can make you productive and creative. Make sure your sleep is not too short or too long.

Work smarter, not harder

Working too hard can be stressful and bad for your health. The mindset that should be used is not hard work, but smart work, which means using time more efficiently, doing the most important work when you are most excited, and not getting stuck feeling “too busy”.

The smarter the way you work, the less time you will need to think about the work to be done.

It turns out that work and health can synergize, as long as we are smart enough to manage it. Good luck!

Coworkers can really be annoying but it's very good you make friends because it gets the work going and you won't feel "slow times" or bored moment when you're alone.

Nice meeting you dear☘️
