Oedipus, a cursed king

Oedipus grew up knowing King Polybus as his father and Queen Meropir as his mother. Lots of force on the body of young Oedipus, sharp intellect on the head. One day a drunken friend sat down with Oedipus and said, 'Oedipus, your parents don't look like you. Your skin size is not like theirs. Honestly, who are your parents? '

He would sit at the main gate of Thebes and call people every day and then ask a riddle. If he could not answer, the demon would kill and eat him. The people of Thebes are in agony. In the meantime the king was called that day. The king was fleeing in fear. And on the way we met Oedipus, then a quarrel, the death of the king due to Oedipus' blow. This is the fact.
However, when Oedipus reached the main gate of Thebes, he was confronted by the Sphinx. People were watching from behind. The Sphinx asked, ‘Can you answer a riddle? If not, I will eat you. 'Oedipus wanted to know,' What's the matter? '! That's the man. People crawl in childhood, that is, they walk on all fours in the morning, youth means they walk on two legs in the afternoon and in the last age they walk on three legs with sticks. '
The Sphinx was reduced to ashes by the correct answer. The people saw a young man burning the sphinx with strange magic. They came and hugged the young man. Taken to the state palace. There is no king. They thought the king had killed the Sphinx. Then they made Oedipus king and married the widow queen in a grand ceremony.
The prophecy came true.
Mother and son do not know each other. Their married life resulted in the birth of two sons and two daughters. Their day was going well. But soon there was a terrible epidemic in Thebes. Hundreds of people are dying in the epidemic. According to the people, King Oedipus rushed to the temple. The prophecy is heard again, ‘There is a man in Thebes who has killed his father and cursed this kingdom by marrying his mother. The epidemic will not stop until he leaves the kingdom. This crisis will not end. '
Then the king finds Oedipus and sees that he is a cursed man. After uncovering all the mysteries, Oedipus raised his eyes and left the throne of the kingdom of Thebes in a distant forest. And Queen Jocasta committed suicide out of grief and shame.
