When You Take A Book, You'd Have To Drop The Gun

Not really moved by the current situation of my country, especially The Educational System. I've been expecting this, didn't pray for it thou but merely looking at the beginning of the administration tells a lot but we all turned our deaf ears. Even if we agreed not to judge the book by its cover; in hoping for the best, they said we should always expect the worst.

Nothing, and no one is serious anyone in this country that we are no more reasoning and our dreams are dying with an everyday cruise.

I'm not freaked though, The Institute Of Political Thuggery needs more students to be enrolled. Most of the former teams have turned to Yahoo! and the only way to recruit more is to distract the serious ones who are ready to study and change their stories with proficiency.

Aren't you shocked? What is obvious is no more hidden? They said: An idle hand is the devil's workshop. Dr. S. A. Oyinloye once said; Ola, what if each state donates #50M to our Educational System, How much will that be? I was touched, I sat back and took a deep look at it. Until very then I understood that these people need more recruits for Their Institute Of Thuggery. The presidential ticket is #50M and lots of people will put in for that. I don't know if we're reasoning the same way. They have nothing to offer but to put a hold on the journey of people's life. And if you talk, they are ready to mute you completely.

We were told that " Education is the key". Now, they have changed the padlock. And no one is ready to lead in the field of struggle because everybody wants to live long. I don't even know what we're living for if someone cannot live to achieve his goals. What's the essence of us living if we cannot die now, in other to leave again? We only dream while sleeping and set up goals while meditating, but waking up only to realise that the ways to achieve those goals have been obstructed is disheartening. Innocent peoples' dreams are dying due to the selfish act of our leaders.

Another question isn't how the number of people is losing their lives daily, but the number of people's life that our government is taking daily to satisfy their curiosity and prove their promised changes, and why? Yet, we are to be denounced, especially my fellow youths. We focused on what doesn't matter. We lay emphasis and put our maximum support and capacity on unnecessary activities. We forget that today isn't what we really mean by life but the hoped-for tomorrow. We abandoned the real path and follow the predicted one.

Anyway, should I say we are dancing to the tone that life brought? We should call it DESTINY or what God has in store for us? But have we ever tried to face the challenges? Have we ever said NO to those deadly errands? Have we ever tried to make requests? Not all the requests would be attended to though, but some would serve as seeds that will bring forth fruits to the upcoming generations. Because nothing will always persist if no action is taken.

The election period is approaching and we would be initiated again to stand against ourselves, especially the innocent ones. A lot of deceived psyches are outside there, eagerly waiting for that token amount to engage in this hooliganism. Hence, people are outside there, that are needed to be enlightened. A lot of corrupted mentalities that are needed to be reoriented. Numerous visions that are needed to be cleared. All the slumbering youths needed to be awoken, fresh souls are needed to be launched and different leaders are to emerge.

Identify, utilize and maximise your potential. Even if you were born to be tested, develop confidence and self-identity. Try to grow in accountability. That ability to become a great and successful person is in you and me. But our eyes need to be opened, our belts to be buckled, and our visions to be cleared.

Obviously, some people will come for this, but this isn't what you need at the moment. You can't give what you don't have. If you lack a friendly and kind heart, you can't bring peace to people. Somebody who asked you to kill would never bring peace but crises that could set the nation ablaze. And things could fall apart that we would always have a better yesterday. And if care is not taken, it can be more complicated that we'll never go back to those beautiful days.

Therefore, stand in front of a mirror today to assess yourself. Almost everyone knows the truth but no one is ready to say it. In a nation where nobody is ready to lead, make your dreams your priority and focus on how they can be fulfilled with little or no supervision. When we always examine ourselves, those weakened points would be revealed. And when we learn how to take a book, we'll surely know how to say NO to those deadly errands, and also, how to drop those guns.
