Nigeria has failed us as a nation and presently we have no bearing of where we are going. What a clueless community we find ourselves where the peaceful protesters are seeing as criminals and the killer herdsmen are encouraged to do more.
October 20, 2020 was a day that can not be easily forgotten in the history of Nigeria where the young peaceful and prospect of Nigeria were marsacared on the bases of demanding for a better Nigeria. Many lives were lost, and now they want to reopen the tollgate where the lives of those heroes were taken and completely forget about those heroes.
I used to say it and I will say it again that prior to October 20, 2020. We don't have any hero Those we called heroes were the one that put us in this situation. But, on that faithful day, history was made. Young and promising youths rose to demand for a better Nigeria. Those were the real heroes Nigeria has ever produced.
Now, they want to reopen the tollgate! And Nigerian are saying No. All our government could do is to send all the harm forces to intimidate people that want justice for what has happened.
I am not in support of us fighting back with weapons as that will dent the real mission, but we can achieve our dreamed Nigeria by staying alive and fight with our thumb come 2023.
I want to beg all the youths to please try as much as possible to stay alive. We can achieve a better Nigeria If we are all alive.
We will surely overcome, but we need to use another method different from the one our corrupt leaders are using.. Allowing peace to reign at a time like this is not a sign of weakness, but strength. We can only overcome by staying alive.
