If you're stressed out because of a bad memory, these are some of the ways to improve on your memory with these good habits.

Get enough sleep: You have heard these several times but it is so true because, without a goodnight's sleep, you are not going to be able to remember the next day. So get at least 6-8 hours of sleep. If you don't get enough sleep you are not going to remember what you learned the previous day.

Drink plenty of water: A dihydrated brain is a brain that will not be able to focus. So that is why drinking plenty of water is so important to the human body.

Exercise: A 2014 Harvard health letter said, "the exercise helps the memory in both direct and indirect ways". It helps directly because exercises reduce information and that helps your brain. It stimulates the growth of new blood cells in the brain and indirectly, exercise is going to help you get enough and better sleep. It also helps to reduce on your stress and anxiety which is really going to help the memory.

Salt levels in your body: Now salt plays an important part in your memory and luck of salt is going to harm your memory. In the brain, salt is used as a stimulae to encourage the brain to create new memories, so when salt is restricted, it can actually hurt your long-term memory.

Stress affects your memory. Stress is one of the worst enemies to memory. Think about a time in your life when you were all stressed out and you were going through a stressful period of your life, your memory was probably horrible. So, to reduce your stress, some people meditate, listen to music, watch movies, read books, among others.

Avoid excessive sugars: The Hippocampus is a part of your brain that is very sensitive to sugar. It plays an important part in learning, memory, and your long-term memory. So, avoid excessive sugar for a better memory.
