My ciboul is un-BEE-lievable... AKA welsh onion or japanese bunching onion is a light-taste seasoning to flavour with delicacy soups, salads, fish, chicken... The violet carpenter bee (Xylocopa) is a friendly solitary bee and a protected specie. Glossy black all over with sparse black hairs. The opaque wings are dark brown with a lilac-coloured sheen. It niches in old rotten wood where it drills corridors, hence the name. [a beautiful love story] 👇 #Photo-Elpbuidl #MyGarden

Back in the USA we had these big ol' carpenter bees that would hang around our house and deck. They were fun to watch, and unaggressive, but you had to drive them off else they would drive holes in anything wooden on your house or in your yard.
Yes you're right. Hopefully I let intentionally old moist wood in the garden for wild bees and insects, for now on it's fine they don't come in the house.
