An unidentified flying object observed over Leeward Oahu in the evening sky caused witnesses on Tuesday to call 911.
The sighting occurred at around 8:30 p.m.
There are numerous images of what appears to be an oblong, glowing mass in both the sky and the sea.
Federal Aviation Administration officials claim that at the time, there were no aircraft incidents or accidents in this area. Yet some witnesses confirmed that they had seen a huge blue object fall from the sky and into the ocean.
A woman can be heard in a single video saying, "Something is in the sky." And what's that? ”
Misitina Sape told Hawaii News Now at 8:26 p.m. she captured the image. In Nanakuli, close to Haleakala Avenue.
A woman named Moriah saw, not long after, what looked like the same object traveling through Princess Kahanu Estates.
And then I looked up and I was like, oh s***! ," she was telling. I began calling them and my husband because they were all in the garage. I was just like, hey. Come and look up. See if what I see is seen by you. All said yea! ”
The 38-year-old says she was never really a believer in UFOs, but they were so fascinated by the bright blue sphere that they jumped into the car and began chasing it.
"I have no idea what it was," she said. "This one went so quickly."
Less than three miles from where it started, the journey ended. She says that after the object seemed to fall into the ocean, they stopped the car on Farrington Highway in front of the Board of Water Supply building.
You can hear her say in one of the videos of Moriah, "(It) went to land in the water." Whichever it is.
She described it as larger than a telephone pole and said that she had never heard any sound from it.
"We called 911," Moriah said, "because we've got a cop or someone to come out and come check out."
Moriah says they spotted a second light when officers were on stage.
She said, "My husband went to look up and he saw the white one coming." "There was a smaller white one. It was coming in the same direction as the one in the blue.
After it flew over a nearby mountain, they lost sight of the object.
They asked the Honolulu police on Thursday morning whether investigators had found out what had dropped into the water. A spokesperson told us they had no details at all.
"In the meantime, FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said Tuesday night, the agency received a police report about a possible plane down in the area, "but no aircraft had disappeared from radars. And no rumors of airplanes being delayed or missing.
Even though Moriah had to think about it for a few days, she says she's still puzzled by what she saw.
I don't know about this day,' she said, laughing. If you can figure out what it was, I know what I want, you know? ”
I wanna know the whole story about this. I'vr read about the monoliths and now an unidentified flying object
