Thermodynamics is in everything around you

We decide what we do because we want to do it or because it is what we can do based on what we have, and if we are subject to principles and laws in our day to day, how much change can this reflect when we understand it?

What is thermodynamics? As its name indicates, it is the movement of heat, more specifically the transformations of Energy, which can obtain many forms.

Thermodynamics is in everything around you. One billiard ball hits another, which transfers kinetic energy and makes the second ball move. If the ball remains at rest and a force is never exerted on it, its state will not change. But and we delve deeper into situations that we would not expect to be related to thermodynamics... and if I tell you that the emotions that govern our day to day are very correctly related.

The principles not only completely govern our life, but ultimately determine our destiny and the entire universe.

All energy is not created or destroyed, it is transformed, just like when you burn a piece of paper, it turns into ashes, and these join the wind current... something similar happens with our feelings, when we are in love with someone and we leave if it is, that love is transformed into indifference, at the same time the indifference is transformed into a memory, the memory into an anecdote and successively. This brings us to the second law of thermodynamics.

The entropy, As entropy is known the natural tendency to the loss of order in a system. The higher the entropy of a system, the lower the energy contained in it capable of undergoing transformations, this measures the energy that is lost and cannot be recovered. entropy and heat go hand in hand in the disaster, heat is the least reliable form of energy and of the worst quality, you need a huge amount of heat for a minimum performance, for this reason; "Entropy is a measure of wasted useless energy."

The hotter the system, the more the particles move and the colder the more still and orderly they are. The more entropy there is, the more disorder there is, and the less likely it is to find a particle where it started.

Did you know that a large part of the physicists who studied thermodynamics tried to take their own lives, many succeeded, the figures are amazing. Maybe understanding entropy can turn out to be worse than not doing it?

I will make more posts about this if I see great support, for the next article we will talk about the third law!

Well I'm more entertained and curious to read more about thermodynamics if applied in our daily life. 👀
