Social media said Mahathir's remarks could incite terrorists. For this reason it has been removed. Twitter authorities deleted the tweet because of their "anti-hate" policy.
In a tweet, Mahathir Mohamad added that he did not support the killing of a French teacher in Shirley Ebdu for showing cartoons mocking the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
A teacher named Samuel Patty was strangled to death this month for showing a caricature of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in a class in France.
