To ensure fast service to domestic and foreign investors, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority has added 9 more services to the One Stop Service (OSS) portal.
Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director, inaugurated the event at a meeting of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority at ICT Tower in Agargaon.
It was informed at the meeting that the one stop service of Hi-Tech Park has gone one step further by adding 9 services related to environmental clearance of the Department of Environment to the OSS portal.
From now on, investors will be able to avail services in a short period of time using the OSS platform for environmental clearance. It was further stated at the meeting that the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority is committed to ensure fast and best service to the investors.
According to ‘One Stop Service Act-2018’ and ‘One Stop Service (Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority) Rules, 2019’, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority is providing services through One Stop Service. Following this, 148 services are being provided, out of which 11 services are being provided through online (https://ossbhtpa.gov.bd/) portal.
With the addition of 9 newly launched services, service recipients will now get 20 services online. Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, thanked the Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change and the Director General of the Department of Environment and called upon the service providers and organizations to cooperate so that all services can be added to the One Stop Service Portal. He thinks that it will be possible to accelerate the development of Bangladesh in the 'Ease of Doing Business Index'.
