Sep20 tokens on Bitcoin.Com wallet
Welcome to another of my article, centering on Bitcoin Cash and SmartBCH adoption, and this one is no exception, instead it will be amazing, enlightening, informative and educative. Lately i have been wondering if we can actually hold and trade and hold our sep20 tokens on our dear Bitcoin.com wallet, hopefully maybe in the future it could be possible.
Sep20 tokens are SmartBCH tokens actually, they are DeFi tokens as well, meaning when holding for long term, its safer because its held on DeFi wallet which is Metamask with your seed phrase given to you. Likewise Bitcoin.com wallet is also a DeFi wallet holding CeFi tokens and SLP tokens in one wallet, so it would beautiful to be able to hold SmartBCH tokens too on the wallet app.
Some of the places we can have the sep20 tokens stored or staged
On the Homepage; One of the core place i feel it would be better to have the sep20 tokens listed on home page of the Bitcoin.com wallet, where anybody that download the app would see the sep20 tokens and be curious as to how to buy them and from there knows what SmartBCH is all about.
On the list of Assets; This may be kind of a little bit hiding, but its still kind of noticeable, the transferred sep20 tokens can be viewed here easily, after transferring the token to the app, one can view the sent tokens into the app on the list of assets available on the app, and it would also be beautiful if one can send the received tokens via this channel.
On the Received Asset; This on the app would show the list of received sep20 token assets, where one could see the list and be able to send out to another wallet, probably back to Metamask, which in full supported sep20 tokens from the start. In my opinion one may not be able to send out from this channel, but be able to receive through this channel.
Over all, i feel if this could be done, it would help SmartBCH to go mainstream more and new investors would get to know more about SmartBCH which would be a plus for the Bitcoin Cash community at large.
