Is Western Education the only Education we have to imbibe

Often times we think the only Education we have to instill, accept is western Education, but in the real sense, there is a lot of Education types, too much to be mentioned, that we have to practice and inculcate in our daily lives.

The meaning of education according to Oxford translation means, the process of giving or receiving systematic instructions,majorly in school. On the other hand it also means a body of knowledge acquired while being educated. Another meaning said its an information about or training in a particular subject, these definitions speaks good about what Education is, but in my own humble definition, its an opportunity to acquire a certain teaching or beliefs into one's daily life.

There are different branches of Education we have around the world, but we are going to hit some of the crucial ones, the ones we are kind of related to such as the, Western Education, Traditional education, Religion Education, Nature Education, Domestic Education, all these mentioned are part of education, but we often sideline it, not knowing its what makes us, not just the western Education.

Some of The Branches of Education

Western Education;

This a practice or teaching being taught and instilled at school or University, just like the name implies, western Education, its like imbibing the culture of the Westerners (Americans, Britain etc). We accept everything that comes from the Westerners, be it favorable or not, so far they are doing it, it's okay by us, we don't mind.

Traditional Education;

This is a kind of Education that deals with each person's cultural believe, we may or may not infuse the western Education into this. We take care of our Tradition, teach it to the ones coming (the children and youths) so they could carry on, especially not to make the cultural belief dies. It can be in form of teaching about the gods of the land, dance, songs, moves, dressing and so, this is very important to all nation because no one wants or hope for his/her forefathers culture and tradition to die off.

Religion Education;

This is kind of education that deals with religion, faith and beliefs are being taught to the younger and old alike generations, mostly to believe in the Supreme Being (God) or man made gods, so they pray to them for favors, protections and other things that partians spirituality.

Nature Education;

This is a kind of education that deals with everything nature, like plants, oceans, sky, and other things we see as nature. This is an important education that needs to be instilled because it has a lot of good value it brings, imagine knowing about the names of every plants, animals, waters etc, and how to use them for the benefits of mankind? That's what makes it interesting and good to teach to everyone and the younger generations alike.

Domestic Education;

This is a core part of education, and this implies knowing about home training, how to respect people, how to greet, do some house chores, and respecting ones elders or parents. Most often we forget this type of education, we just focus on western Education, taking our children or ward to school, once we do that, that's all what they need. This needs to be taught everywhere around the world, raising a generation that has manners not just some uncouth generation.

Really i don't mean that western Education is bad, infact its very important because mostly that's what we need to be successful in our today society, but teaching other branches of Education to the upcoming generation goes a long way too and can really help to build a better future community.
