It caught me for the first time. Finally got to see this kind of corn. We roam around and happened to be at the booth where there is a different variety of corn being displayed. [Snap a photo 3] I saw a tarpaulin with a corn that has a unique color, not the usual one we always see being sell in the market. This corn is dark in color which we call it here tapul na mais ["tapul" means dark violet in color]. This sweet waxy corn was offered to us for free taste by the person assigned in the booth. I smiled and was shy so told him that I only get one for my cousin but then he insist that I should also get one. I pick, eat and jokingly told him we are just here to look but then end up having a free food. Lol! We took almost one hour of our time talking in there about corns, seeds and was also being interviewed by them as they thought we are still students. [Giggles] Me and my cousin told them that we are already working. The corn in the photo was freely given to me as I bought 2kl of sweet corn from them. It was given to me freely as this is what I really want to buy but since it's already out of stocks and only two left. They give it for free at least I won't go home empty handed of this sweet waxy corn —the new variety of corn in the market. Hope in the future would able to buy lot of this corn. Yay! I almost bought a seeds of it. Lol! #eirphotography
