For some months now, Nigeria as a nation has not been balanced or stable. The SARS force had ruined and taken so many lives. The Nigerian youths could no longer bear the pain of loosing friends and relatives at the hands of thesame people that were supposed to protect them, hence, they took to the streets to protest peacefully against SARS and Police brutality.
These young, vibrant and future promising youths took to the streets with the intention and hope of getting the government to hear their voice. Some Nigerian celebrities such as Williams Uchemba, DJ Switch, Falz, Yul Edochie, Flavor, Erigga, Chioma Akpota amongst others joined in the peaceful protest.
The protest was held in most states of the country causing a lot of heat all over the globe.
Sadly, on the 20th day if October 2020, an army of soldiers arrived one of the peaceful protest ground, the Lekki toll gate and shot at the peaceful protesters even the ones carrying the Nigerian flag and singing the Nigerian national anthem as explained by Dj Switch who after working to secure the safety of the protesters including the gunshot wounded victims, was making a live video on Instagram which showed many wounded and many dead.
The Nigerian government and Army denies having anything to do with it and the government went further to say nobody was shot (I wonder how it was possible for someone to edit a live video and insert wounded and dead people, which is impossible by the way). They (the government) later said no one was hurt even with all the plain and clear evidence.
I stand for a better and reformed Nigeria✊✊✊
