For over 3 weeks or so we've been seeing all the drama playing out between the world's number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic and the government of Australia over his covid status and violation of covid rules in his country Serbia and Australia. The story has it that he also traveled to Spain after testing positive for the virus in December, he also granted interviews and presented awards to some kids.

Initially, it looked like Australia would ask him some questions and let him go but as the days go by it appears as though they want to really ground him, it's as if there's something more to the young man breaking covid rules, is there something there not telling us? I am an advocate of due process but since the young man has admitted his wrongs and apologized openly, I thought that he would have been granted pardon but his "prosecutors" don't want to spare him

Recall that his Australian visa was revoked initially but illegally. This time, his visa has been revoked again by court order and he's banned from ebtering Australia for the next 3 years! Isn't that too much?

If you are a fan of Djokovic you should have noticed that he doesn't give up easily, he's currently filing for appeal after appeal against that verdict, he's supposed to participate in Australia open which will start on Monday and those guys are tossing him around in this manner, they won't even allow him concentrate and train. I mean everyone knows that he broke the law and should be punished for it but he later admitted his wrong and apologized. Why won't they just forgive him? No, they want to play politics, they want to show the rest of the world that they strict with laws... Hypocrisy!

Little did they know that by trying to punish the young man they expose their dirty linings. It has just been discovered that a lot of migrants are being detained illegally in the same hotel they remanded Djokovic, those migrants have been detained there for long without fair hearing, no justice in this 21st century yet they claim to be civilized and law abiding, that's so unfair.

The good thing about the whole story is that no matter what happens in the end, whether Novak is allowed to play or not, he remains a hero. Do you know why? His detention in that hotel has made it possible for the world to see and know that some migrants are detained in that hotel and that means justice for them, this is blessing in disguise, thanks to Novak Djokovic. If his detention and denial could bring justice for those migrants then he has done the greatest, he is a hero
